I think the Targaryens from A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms are superior to the greens from House of the Dragon. I don't care about morality or any crap like that. I just think Daeron the Drunken, Aerion Bright flame, and Aegon the Unlikely are way more compelling than Alicent's brood, that's all 🤷‍♀️

Sorry to bother you but can I ask what Hellwife is? Cause she said “And since I never Fell…” which prompted me to think a bit, like Antler Guy is apparently a demon, Son was changed(?) but it’s never specified what Hellwife is

You can ask, certainly, but I can't answer completely yet. (And its no bother at all, no worries.) If I answer here then it will be far lss fun when you read it for the first time.

No spoilers ahead, just ruminations. I'd put in a read more but I'm on my phone and that ain't happening. Avert your eyes if you rather not see.

Hellwife is fun because its almost a total switch by the end of it. In the beginning all the attention is on Antler Guy as this ominous presence and Hellwife is (deliberately) both more approachable and less scary. By the end just about everyone knows that Antler Guy is a bony cinnamon roll but Hellwife is Something Else.

Some things I deliberately kept vague in thee version that's on Tumblr because of space constraints, and I wanted to keep it readable. Its about 13 pages in MS word alone, I think. Other things work better in such a compressed format without great detail. I knew early on what Hellwife ultimately was but for the short form version her backstory didn't matter as much. The story focused on Antler Guy and Steve and the shaping of the Neighborhood. I will say that she is not a demon (except in the everything-but-Heaven-and-Earth-is-Hell sense) and not of Heaven. That much is in the story as posted, plus other clues.

As inspired by @erinnightwalker‘s stories as read in this post reblogged by @jwblogofrandomness.  I read a bit of this nonsense and thought to myself, “This would make a pretty interesting adult cartoon.  Nothing really gory but really smart and funny.”  So I drew up the family and a title.  Why?  Just for the hell of it.

Anywho, go ahead and tell me what you think.  I’ll probably draw the neighbors too at some point (translation: seven months).
