So I went to see The Swellers last night and it was so fucking awesome. I've been seeing them ever since they first came over to the UK, and last night was the best time I've ever seen them. The crowd was so pumped (which never usually happens) and the band were loving it and I was just so happy because they deserve it so much. They're one of the most hardworking and dedicated bands out there, and they've struggled through a lot of shit but never lost the love for music or the fans. They put 100% into every single show and I have nothing but respect and love for them. This is a bit of a soppy post because I don't know when/if I'll see them live again, which fucking sucks. They've always been so lovely to me and appreciative of my support and in turn their shows have always been a true pleasure to attend, and some of the best gigs ever. I was 15 when I first started listening to them and their music was a real eye opener to me. It was so powerful and melodic but insanely fun at the same time, and their live shows are just the best ever. I didn't get to say goodbye to them last night which is really upsetting but I know they appreciate it. TL;DR I love The Swellers a hell of a lot and I'm really going to miss them.
