Apparently, the players that the Devils were willing to trade for Quinn Hughes were: Simon Nemec, Dawson Mercer, Anton Silayev, and a first-round pick.

The offer didn't last, because of a problem with the Devils' cap space.

Anton Silayev PEAK easily spooked horse. i get you so bad my dude. you’re huge and they keep asking you to move the puck and do Everything but you simply do not have that gear . sweet defensive defenseman prince …people come at you and you explode. there is a stone in your beautiful hoof and thats everyones problem now!!! like LOOK at this:

he’s in juniors and he simply does Not want the puck actually .!!!

they were sooo high on him earlier in the season i remember it leaking through to MY limited channels of hockey news (because he’s 6’7 — and quite possibly the best skater to come out of this draft according to some??) like they thought he’d go 2nd overall. saw his tallgirl status and saw that he could skate but didn’t consider that actually he ain’t made to break the puck out … that’s just not his vibe unfortch </3
