It was nice to hear Sunny talk so kindly about Nico (& Gritsyuk) in his Town Hall yesterday with season ticket holders about their extensions. Speaking of the Devils YouTube had it. It starts around the 18:39 mark. I wish one of the bigger Twitter accounts would post it with all the dumb trade rumors around Nico.

also overall just a good town hall from sunny! the questions were mostly softballs but it's still nice to hear a gm that doesn't rip a massive "uhhhhh" before fumbling through his answers
hopefully the stuff he said about carving out their own identity as a team instead of just copying other winning teams actually shows through adjustments from sheldon. that, and his point about not over-focusing on optimising jack's line to the detriment of the rest of the roster. cautiously excited to see what he does this offseason!
