Heyyyy! I don't think I ever posted this here, but since its old and I'm likely not gonna finish it, why not?

This was a wip for my first (sort of second but the other one I abandoned immediately) big project regarding Antspiral, I started it around 3 months ago, and since then Antspiral's lore has changed to where an exchange like this between her and Corvidstar (owned by my friend bones) would not be canon! Not to mention an artstyle change that sent me directly to hell. Um. Yeah

I still am happy with what I did get done, but I just have to move on and start new projects

I dont think I've told people here the antspiral lore so I'm gonna just put it here for future reference because i love antspiral

Antspiral was born in shadowclan in a very dire time. The clan was starving, and it was on the brink of war with windclan. In a battle between the two clans, she was separated from her mother, Batbite, and stolen by the windclan deputy, Vulturebite.

Her, along with some other kits, were taken to a secluded area for some moons and taught an altered version of the warrior code. Vulturebite took care of Antkit, and got attached to her -- far more than the other kits. When Corvidstar (windclan's leader) and Vulturebite returned the kits to shadowclan, claiming that the previous leader manipulated them, they kept Antkit, saying they could not locate her.

Corvidstar and Vulturebite led windclan on a conquest, taking over shadowclan. At this point, Antkit was briefly reunited with her parents.

After taking over shadowclan, the two clans were merged and rebranded to crownclan.

Crownclan teaches Antkit, now Antpaw, to devote herself to starclan and her leader. Xe idolizes Corvidstar just as much as xe does xer ancestors.

Antpaw's parents were very distant from her -- they could only see her dedicating herself to the clan that took everything from them, as they were prisoners to crownclan.

Antpaw has her little friendgroup, though her main friends are Harepaw and Creekpaw, though Antpaw is friendly to the other loyal Crownclan cats.

as Antpaw grows and gets her warrior name, Antspiral, things get more tense in the clan. Cats are caught rebelling -- including Antspiral's parents. Many of Crownclan's prisoners escape or die in the process of escaping, forming a rebel group within the territory.

Antspiral grows to hate the rebelling cats, though her friend, Creekspring, begins to distance herself from Crownclan -- eventually aligning herself with the rebels and leaving Antspiral.

After losing one of xer closest friends, Antspiral dedicates xerself to being loyal to her clan.

Moons later, in a large battle between the rebels and Crownclan, Antspiral finds herself fighting her mother. In the midst of the fight, Batbite claws through Antspiral's chest, leaving xer to bleed out into the floor until xe dies.

Antspiral wakes up in the dark forest, completely alone. She doesn't know where she is, or most importantly why she isn't in starclan. She finds herself lost, wandering the decaying landscape for several, several moons.

In her travels, Antspiral finds a hollow equivalent of the moonpool, and by digging through it, she's returned to the world in a zombie-like state.

Something is wrong though.

Everyone she knew was gone.

finally made a proper antspiral redesign !! been waiting to give xer a more consistent look for a while now and its bothered me how antspiral's old design was way too dark to see any markings

(btw! the accessory on the leg is vines wrapped around the leg w crow talons in them because of an idea proposed by my friend bones of the crownclan warriors wearing accessories symbolizing their first catch!!!)

btw if anyone wants to send me asks abt these characters (antspiral is the spiky one and creekspring is the sad one) or ask me anything abt crownclan i will go insane and drop so much lore . for fun
