ANTIVIRAL AND BRANDON CRONENBERG!!!!!!!!!!
In the afternoon there was a presentation for Antiviral and of course I was really excited.
It was a really good presentation.
Brandon Cronenberg is fascinating and I was hanging on to every word he said because it was so interesting. The whole topic of his movie and his thoughts on fame.
We got to see some really cool clips from Antiviral the movie look amazing and exactly like something I would love.
There was no time for questions at the panel so Brandon (who is the director of the movie) was going to be down at the Antiviral promoting place for the last half hour of the show so I made a mental note to go there.
The thing was that OH MY GOD THIS MOVIE IS ABOUT FAME AND HOW MESSED UP IT CAN GET SO OBVIOUSLY I SHOULD HAVE A GAME PLAN ON HOW TO INTERACT WITH MR.CRONENEBRG BECAUSE HOW DO I INTERACT WITH HIM?!?
He was so clever and sort of awkward in the panel but in a lovely way.
In the end I just went there and he was talking to some people so I was just chilling there and this guy asks if I wanna talk to him so I said I did. And he walks over and LITERALLY INTRODUCES HIMSELF LIKE "Hi, I'm Brandon" and shakes my hands so I introduce myself. I told him I was really excited about Antiviral, it looked great etc...
But it was the best thing because he seemed to be as nervous/awkward as me so I felt more comfortable and he's such a cutie and he seems SO intelligent I admire his work already so much.
And then he signed an Antiviral poster for me and I was so happy.
BUT WAIT! I never got to say goodbye to Scottish dude!!
GASP!
The Story can't end that way.
It didn't, as I was about to leave because I couldn't find him I ran into him and he smiles and greets me by name (he remembered) and he just gave em a hug and i thanked him fro being so nice and we said bye. Sigh, what a cool dude.
Also, I took some videos from the Antiviral panel so that will be up soon.
Brandon Croneneberg seems really great.
