Trump Weird News - Trump, "Almost ... In Prison"
“Filmmaking is now a dangerous vocation in Malaysia and far from the internationally competitive industry the Prime Minister imagines,” the organization said this week in an open letter. “With the new LPF guidelines we could potentially see an increase in arrests and investigations.”
Government is proposing to expand the scope of the LPF and to give national guidelines a more pro-Islamic stance.
Section 2.1.1 of the new LPF religious guidelines mean that films touching on “teaching that promotes anti-God [beliefs], atheism, agnosticism, scientology, religious pluralism, liberalism, blasphemy, supporting fanatical beliefs, criticising, denouncing or discrediting any religion” will be subject to more scrutiny.

After so many years of struggle, hard work and the whole world is still always against you, a GLORIOUS new era is finally happening in my home country Malaysia.
PROUD!!!
After what seemed like an endless loop of political uncertainty, Malaysia will finally have its 10th prime minister, putting an end to five days of ambiguity after Saturday’s general election, which resulted in no single coalition winning enough seats to form the government.
After two decades of being opposition leader, Pakatan Harapan chairman Anwar Ibrahim is set to be sworn in as PM at 5pm today, according to a statement by the Royal Palace.
The King, Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Riyatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, will perform the ceremony later today.
“After refining the views of His Highnesses, the Malay Kings, His Majesty has given his consent to appoint the Honorable Pate” Seri Anwar Bin Ibrahim (Member Parliament P.063 Tambun) as the 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia in accordance with His Majesty’s powers as provided in Article 40(2) (a) and Article 43 (2)(a) of the Federal Constitution,” the statement read
The King called for unity among all MPs to safeguard the future of the country.
“His Majesty stressed that the nation is a treasure that the various leaders are entrusted with. This treasure must be looked after because it will be passed on to the next generation.”
“The members of the Dewan Rakyat who have been elected by the people are also reminded to show solidarity by giving priority, high commitment, and the best service to the people.”
The last few days have been a rollercoaster for Malaysia, with political parties wanting to form a unity government to changing their minds within the next hour.

I was doing research on 15 - 16th century SEAsian history and accidentally feel down a rabbit hole of LGBTQ+ rights in Malaysia and if I thought what I already knew was bad, hoooo boy.
There's this play called Asmara Songsang written by Rahman Adam, which means abnormal desire or something equally asinine. It's about three queer friends who do drugs and other stuff, and also have a lot of sex. And apparently homosexuality is airborne, and therefore a lot of people are infected with this aBNoRmaL deSiRE. And blah blah blah, people start to realise that homosexuality is wROnG and they rEpENt. And then the three OG queers are struck by lightning and then die.
You think that was bad? The government loved it so much that they sponsored it and arranged performances at schools, making it, in the wise words of MalaysiaKini, state-funded bigotry.
You think that was bad? When the guy was interviewed about his bigoted bullshit, he said, and I quote, “If anyone said I tried to create hateful feelings, then I say no, I didn’t do that at all. I always do good things.” Is this man for real? Jesus.
Fucked up media aside, the then-government (or should I just say UMNO cos bold of you to assume MCA or MIC or Gerakan or anyone else has a say in anything) started a “People's Anti-Homosexual Voluntary Movement (PASRAH)”. Talk about state-funded bigotry.
We were also supposed to have our first pride march in 2017, but the government and PAS (Malaysian Islamic Party) and so-called Islamists squashed it. And now here we are. So obscure that the former minister of Tourism, Art, and Culture straight up told German reporters that, quote, “I don't think we have anything like that in our country.” Um hello??? What are we, cattle?
Okay here's the fun part. Anwar Ibrahim, former Deputy Prime Minister, one of our best Prime Minister choices at the moment, was charged and jailed twice for sodomy, which is basically just, having gay sex. He didn't serve full-term for either. He said that laws should be reformed to allow consenting adults to have hook up with whoever the fuck they wanted but same-sex marriage was going a little too far. Bro. Are you even hearing the shit that comes out of your mouth.
There was also a supposed leaked sex tape of Azmin Ali and some other dude but nothing came of it so. No gonna waste time on that.
My point is. WhAT THE F U C K. WHAT THE FUCK. Why is my country like this. Why is the only political party that openly supports LGBTQ+ rights a socialist party. Actually that probably just proves that socialism was the solution to all the bullshit the world has been through all along.
