*aggressive jazz hands as I clumsily make my way into the room* im non- binary (AFAB) but i feel like I dont really count since I usually dress like my birth gender, and dont *hate* pronouns. It doesn't help that I have no clue how to come out to my friends (who would be 100% supportive, I'm just anxious). I also have a pretty sizable chest, which is nice when im feeling feminine, but absolute hell when I'm not. adnjsckajhjhfdkkjncjldcn if u have any advice plz

Anyone of any gender can dress in any way. There’s plenty of men and nonbinary people who present in feminine ways, regardless of their assigned gender! And you definitely don’t have to hate your pronouns to be valid <3

I got dating sigils but none of the ones I have are sexuality-specific, but they should hopefully do what you need them to do

Is there a term to describe people who would totally be in a poly relationship, but doesn't really care, and could also be in a mono relationship? Is that just poly? Or is there a different label?

How do you make your sigils?

I'm a very freeform, organic sigil maker. I don't use the letter wheel or vowel deletion methods. I often juxtapose symbols that already exist (flowers, stars, leaves, etc) with lines and shapes to convey a certain message or feeling. I draw and re-draw until I find a version that seems most fitting.

I often use circles as the base for my sigils, because in my symbology a circle represents a person. It has a defining boundary, it's more organic in shape than other geometric symbols, it has an inside and an outside. These are all characteristics that make it seem fitting.

This is an example of a sigil I made today for "strength of foundation despite adversity."

I started with the arrow shape pointing upwards, a symbol I use often for houses, buildings, any structure with a roof. The lines going from upper right to the lower left are meant to evoke the feeling of a storm. Rain, wind, snow, anything you like. The heavy block on the bottom right is support, like support beams in large buildings. And the dot is just something that happened at the end.

I often add dots to my sigils. They make things feel complete, they often end up functioning as smaller circles in my mind (more people, entities, whatever). Here it almost invokes the image of debris from the structure that struggles to stay up, or maybe a single raindrop.

In the end, I wanted this to look like a building standing tall through a storm. And by the end, that image was clear to me.

I don't feel pressured to make or use some system to create sigils. I like the organic process I go through making them.
