“Ehh? Did I just get you to swear at me? I consider that an accomplishment, come on it was just a prank. Did I scare you that badly?” In the dark hallways it was all too easy to pull a harmless joke on people. Especially this kid who hadn’t been paying attention when he’d snuck up behind him. What he didn’t expect though, was how well it actually worked. The boy yelling out when he’d jumped out from behind him.
Just breathe
Send “Just breathe” for my character to break down in front of yours.
He was trying to calm himself down, really. It was rather hard considering all the stress he had felt since them losing the match and upcoming college entrance exams. It just meshed together into one massive feeling of anxiety. Oikawa wasn’t usually one to let his feelings get to him like this but he finds his chest growing heavier and his breathing quicken. His eyes are wet, fingers clutching into his shirt over his heart as he tries to steady his breathing. His eyes flicker over to the younger teen and he let’s out a breathy laugh, smile wobbling as he composes himself momentarily to assure the other that he’s fine. He just had something in his eye.
It’s an obvious lie but he simply hopes that the underclassmen won’t pressure him any further. He prefers to be alone when he has mood swings like this-- at least then he won’t accidentally lash out at anyone (throwback to middle school).
