Re: accents - I'm not sure about that, and I have trouble with the language about a general American accent, but I'll do some investigating and let you know. Also, the hidden word is "French" :)

Ahh true - it’s kind of impossible to pinpoint a modern “American accent.” I wonder how different English accents along the east coast were from each other that early on. If you find out more, definitely let me know! 

10 points to Slytherin! I’m learning French this semester because I want to be less hopelessly lost when I make my way back to France. :)

ALSO - I’m going to be in Athens, Georgia, for a fencing competition the weekend of March 22/23. I have no idea where that is relative to you, BUT we will be in the same state :D

I don't know if it sent but I was gonna say RE: Amy, I don't know the context of the "pass" comment, but it could be like the time she was asked about the stereotype of unfunny female comedians and she just said, "This question is boring" rather than rehash a discussion where it is SO OBVIOUS one side is right?

Right? Like… idk dude, I honestly have no idea what to make of it. Maybe it was taken out of context, maybe it wasn’t. Here's a link to the article.

I mean, earlier in the article, Amy’s asked about Sound of Music ("NBC is now the Sound of Music network. Are you getting any pressure to do the whole show as a live musical number?") and she says: "OK, I see what you’re doing, you’re going to set up jokes. I’m not falling for that. I didn’t say any of that. I’ve worked at NBC for 12 years so I’m happy they had a successful night of TV." And after that question, her answers (and Tina Fey’s) get super sarcastic and just have a general sense of ‘nope, not here for you’, so maybe she was just fed up with the interviewer by the time they got to that question?

I’m not looking for excuses or anything. No matter what, it was a bad move on her part, esp considering how big of an issue representation is.

If you HAD to pair up all the members of LM and 1D, who would be your couples and who would be the one poor boy you left single?

OK, I had a convo w/ Amaya about this a little while ago and we kind of matched them up (though I can’t remember exactly what they were? lol). So, OK, here we go:

Zayn/Perrie (because obv and they made it easy on me lol)

Jade/Niall (THESE CUTE ASSHOLES, THEY’D JUST JUMP AROUND AND BE SILLY AND MAKE CUTE FUCKING FACES ALL THE TIME IT’D BE GR12)

Harry/Leigh-Anne (I don’t have a particular reason, other than they’d be hot as FUCK together… also Leigh-Anne seems the least ~into 1D so I’m imagining Harry following her around like a puppy and idk that’s rly cute?) (also, I don’t think she has anything against the boys or even 1D as a THING, but more that LM gets asked about 1D alllllllll the time and Leigh-Anne seems to be the most vocal one about being OVER IT lol)

Liam/Jesy (IT’D BE SO CUTE, OH GOSH, GET OFF ME)

Which would mean that Louis wouldn’t get a LM gf but he and Eleanor and qt patooties so it’s fine.
