5hrs+ metallic hair transformation. Swipe for video. The process... Had previously done a blue roots to pink ends melt on bleached hair. Colour was faded but the pink was particularly stubborn. (Had used a dash of SFX Atomic Pink in the mix 🤦‍♀️) did 2x KFT fading treatments on previous appointments to help budge it. But it just got brighter 😳 but looks like all the blue was out. So bleached out the natural roots (off scalp first, the re apply to scalp for the last 15min.) Loreal Multi-techniques powder and 20vol + Olaplex. Then did the same mix with just 6vol over the pink ends for just 10min in a last ditch effort to pull some more pink out. Results: level 10 all thru, but gold roots, pale mint green mid (the old blue had still been hiding in there!) and pale baby pink ends. On to coloring... Roots Loreal Majirel .11 + dash 1 + 20 vol for root shadow. Mid: Majirel .22 + red mix + 20vol over green mid. Left pale pink ends out for now. Processed for 35 minutes. When washing out at the basin emulsified the root colors over the ends for a minute to tone. Resulting in a soft pearly pink ends. Then mixed some .11 Richesse + 9vol to tone some stubborn areas on the ends further. Resulting in a mix of pale pearl and silver ends. Finished off with Olaplex #2. Last Tuesday’s Purple Pink twist colour on the beautiful @pinkdipdye . 4hrs. Swipe right to see the before. This client had previously used a box bleach at home ages ago that hadn’t taken well and was patchy. That had grown out and was her natural hair roots and mid. Thankfully she wanted a shorter look, so cut out most of the box bleached ends. Before colouring. The process: Full head back to back highlights. Alternating fine weave classic foils to the roots, and teased foilyage to correct the ends and blend the look. Used L’Oréal Professional Multi Techniques + 20vol and Olaplex (switching up to 30 vol on the last area). Root shadow at the basin with Richesse 6 + 7.01 + 9vol. The Pink: I actually used 2 shades because one is to basic. 😜 😈Purple pink roots: L’Oréal Colorful Hair Fetish fuchsia + Special Effects Deep Purple + Adore Purple Page Olaplex #1 Applied over the roots at the basin. 🌺 Light pink Ends: L’Oréal Colorful Hair Pink Sorbet + Sunset Coral + dash Fetish fuchsia + Olaplex #2. This was blended at the basin into the root colour and on mid lengths and ends. Rinse and conditioner wash only. Olaplex #2. Finish cut and blowdry with @ghd messy curl. Hair by @anya_goy . Saturday’s big colour transformation: 6hrs! From years of home box red dye.... to blonde.... to rich rainbow colour melt all while maintaining the condition 💪. The process... Started with level 6 red. Louise Galvin hair Colour remover got us to a level 7 copper. Cut and dry. Full head bleach, off scalp, in foil stack using L’Oréal Multi-Techniques Lightening Powder + 20vol + Olaplex. Then root application same mix for last 10-15 min. Wash and Olaplex at the basin Step 2. Result was clean level 10 roots, gold level 9 mid length, copper level 8 ends. Vivid colors: Root shadowed all over with a mix of half L’Oréal Pro #COLOURFULHAIR Navy Blue half Adore Aquamarine. Then colour melt in different combinations (depending on what I felt would take best on each section) the following: Special Effects Blue Mayhem Special Effects Electric Blue Adore Aquamarine Special Effects Atomic Pink Special Effects Deep Purple L’Oreal Colorfulhair Iced Mint L’Oreal Colorfulhair Sunshine Yellow I focused the cooler peacock tones on the roots and midlengths and the warmer sunset tones on the ends.
