ok today i bring you a prince!ziyu & bodyguard!tian xuning AU inspired by the gorgeous photoshoot.

ziyu, a perfect little prince and angel for the whole world to see, is in fact an annoying little gremlin behind closed doors, causing trouble for his whole staff. but as he's got such a pristine and perfect image for the rest of the world, when tian xuning is asked by his agency if he'd be interested in being the personal bodyguard of the nation's little prince, he agrees immediately. he thinks he's in for an easy job (external risks aside, he's good at his job so he's not worried about that), but to his surprise... the little prince isn't at all what he'd been led to believe.

the prince is a menace, spoiled, keeps trying to escape at all hours of the day, causes trouble for everyone around him. he's not afraid of his bodyguards because he knows that he's the one in control and with the power.

so, fed up after a few days of having to basically babysit - not the job he'd signed up - tian xuning decides to take matters into his own hands. he learns exactly how to put the little prince into his place once he figures out his weakness...

some possible backstory points to use:

ziyu grew up all alone in the royal family, his father busy being king, his mother long ago, replaced by a step-mother that hates him along with jealous siblings that didn't get along with him and continued to sabotage him.

with his parents both distant from him, ziyu's only interactions are with his private teachers and the palace staff. as they're always polite and respectful of him, doing whatever he wants, he acts out with them because he can.

he's forced to act all polite and proper by his father, including to his stepmom and his bully siblings. to vent, he acts up behind the scenes... causing trouble to those that he can permit himself to act terribly around

his one weakness?: apparently bullied by a hot older guy makes him immediately shut up and obey. he's not used to being ordered around or yelled at, because he gets away with everything. but tian xuning doesn't have time to babysit a grown prince and frankly doesn't care if he'd get fired or not. and once he realizes that it works, well things certainly get more interesting ...

bonus: prince ziyu trying to escape in the middle of the night, but his bodyguard can read him like a book and he's already waiting at the door, ready to stop him.

kageyama hasnt saved (more like refused to save) tsukkis number in his phone because it vexes tsukki so even after years of reluctant (they love each other so much) friendship kageyama still answers with whose this whenever tsukki calls even tho he has the last 4 numbers of the phone number memorised
