But- to answer your question:
(LONG ASS RESPONSE/EXPLAINATION UNDER THE CUT)
Tenna finds out what happened through Video. He isn't happy with any of this in the slightest.
(not pictured here): Originally he asks Rezzy bc he thinks he's fucking with him, and Rezzy just directs Tenna to Video, as she was the first one he saw and the only one in the room after he woke up.
Video explains and Tenna is upset with the whole situation. With the Addisons for abandoning him, acting like nothing happened, and not telling Spamton that he DIED. At Queen for ordering Spamton be thrown in acid and literally not giving a fuck (Queen is still as silly as she's always been, I love you Queen), and most importantly at Swatch for THROWING HIS HUSBAND IN ACID, and having the nerve to act like they're his friend.
But despite losing his goddamn mind at all the lies and deception going on, Tenna can't bring himself to actually tell him either. He's late to the party, and he's still processing all of this himself, trying to figure out the best way to go about this.
As for Rezzy himself...
He has absolutely no interest in finding out what actually happened. Actually, he would prefer to never find out.
He doesn't remember what happened at all, sure...
But he's not stupid.
He can see how everyone is acting around him. How they all desperately avoid the topic of what happened, and why and how he's in this new body.
If it's that bad, and everyone is clearly trying to protect him from some sort of devastating truth...
He's gonna let them.
Unrelated rambling: Vi and Tenna are really similar in this au, on the way of- they both do a complete 180° and become super protective over Spamton after learning something's happened to him.
Hearing that she of all people was on Spamton's emergency contact list while he worked at Queen's mansion- AFTER they abandoned him, set off something in Vi's brain. After all that. After everything that happened. If he was in a life threatening situation, Spamton wanted someone to reach out to her?
It just immediately broke away the barrier of any petty jealousy. In that moment she just wanted her brother back. Wanted him to be safe. Wanted him to feel loved.
Tenna— for Tenna, seeing Spamton in front of him after all those years, being so genuinely happy to see him— and not remembering leaving him, having no clue why he would be mad at him-
Just kinda. Broke something within him.
Deep down, Tenna always wanted the old Spamton back... But not like this.
He went from "I wish they never brought that laptop home" to "What did you do to my husband?" In moments. Like he wasn't just as much of, if not MORE a vindictive mess than the Addisons.
He's a hypocrite. And he knows it.
But instead of confronting any of that within themselves, Vi and Tenna are just gonna beef with each other and act like they don't have the same issues.
