Like, no shade to Radiostatic shippers and Vox fans and the like. I myself find RadioSilence pretty interesting.
But... one of the most irritating things about this fandom is how a lot of people straight up refuse to understand that Vox actually likes Valentino (and Velvette, of course).
Like he treasures them. They're a found family. Valentino isn't just some replacement for Alastor because he's a fundamentally different character than who Alastor is... and Vox literally partnered with him for forty years or more. Vivzie called Staticmoth "explorative and awakening" for Vox.
But let's say Val is a replacement for Alastor and run with that line of thinking for a moment. he still kept him for forty years, cleans up all his messes, makes sure he eats something, always has him on surveillance, and dances so joyfully with said replacement? That's a lot.
Also Alastor doesn't reciprocate Vox's wants and obsession.
But I get it. The reason the fandom doesn't want to acknowledge that Vox feels something for Val is because well... Valentino is a disgusting and evil person. And that would make Voxxie Woxxie disgusting and horrible and complicit in everything Val does! Oh heavens no!
Oh wait, he is. Guys, Vox enjoys watching Val be cruel and terrible. He's into it. And it's not a stretch to say that he found Alastor attractive for the same reasons. Alastor is also a cruel and manipulative bastard who uses people to achieve his ends. So there's something to maybe think about once in a while.
Ultimately, I don't care if you dislike Valentino or love Radiostatic. I'm just soooo sick of the double standards and pretending these characters from a show based in Hell are something they aren't.
