About Me/Bio! (Updated 6/29/26)

☾ Hey! My name is Starlyx but you can call me Moon, Sun or Star for short :) I am an artist and animator primarily in the Beatles fandom. I post animations on a whim because usually they're very tiring to do (unless i get the motivation to do one in a day which has happened thrice). I'm also very lazy which doesn't help my case. But i do art more than animating so that's something ig. When I'm not doing yt stuff I'm most likely doomscrolling, daydreaming or lazing off doing other shit. Anyways, heres just some basic stuff about me below ↓☀︎

hi. i overanalyze the beatles cartoon a lot. through my overanalyzing i firmly believe that george is the smartest cartoon beatle.

in ticket to ride he shows the other beatles he makes robots as a hobby. he shows them the robot he made. the robot cries when ringo says he's scared of it. george made a robot presumably on his own that can not just respond to the environment around it, but emulate a fitting emotional response. with the technology available to him in the 60's.

though the robot is ultimately what made me see george as the smartest cartoon beatle, i've started to wonder...... does he also have the social intelligence to have a deeper understanding of the group's dynamic? he's close friends with ringo, but when he puts him down it's to keep john and paul's respect. he also doesn't seem to care when he's insulted, in episode 18 when the whole group was being fat shamed he just looked annoyed. does he realize that when he doesn't stand out it makes him less vulnerable to slapstick? it takes him until episode 10 to go through any serious harm, and that's only because the others didn't let him back down.

yes, he is superstitious, yes, you can argue he isn't that smart, he's from the saturday morning beatles cartoon. but he's definitely smarter than the other cartoon beatles, whether toon paul wants to accept that or not.

Alsoooo I think you saw but I got my mum to watch some of the Beatles cartoon, I showed her Please Mister Postman, Do You Want To Know A Secret and I Call Your Name oh yeah also Devil In Her Heart I don’t remember the actual name something like that she thought the Ringo sequence in DYWTKAS was really funny but she couldn’t get over the voices

I actually didn't like the Chains episode one bit at first. I first watched it after burning my finger on hot glue, needless to say watching the others be that cruel to Ringo was no comfort. The episode has grown on me a bit, but it still hurts my soul to watch lol

Anyways I picked a random number to see what episode I'd draw and I landed on 6, and this whole vision just came to me. Hope you all like it :)

I've gotten super into Doctor Mario lately (the character cuz i havent played Smash nor the game he comes from ik ik im a poser im sorry 💔💔) so i just had to make a board for him too

Honestly I didn't really have much to work with here but maybe I'll remake these in the future. Anyways, you can see classic Doc alongside his (potentially evil) black counterpart whom i both love very much
