Fifteen and fourteen please!😃
15: Pick a previous relationship (or multiple) of your character's. Explain how that/those impact the way they navigate relationships now.
Eh fuck it let's go for Hamlet Fic since I am a bit tired of wracking my brain on these. Okay so,,, Tom's relationship with his mother, Merope. Their relationship is... complicated. Very much so, in fact. Tom very much blames her for the way he was thrown aside by society in his youth in favour of James, and holds no affection for mother figures as a result. Merope tried to be kind to her, but her words ultimately always boiled down to 'don't touch what isn't yours to touch' - and Tom, rebellious bastard that he is, took the opposite to heart; taking his brother's life, his brother's wife, his brother's crown, and his brother's son - ultimately taking and destroying whatever James and the Potters had in favour of twisting it to his own image. You'll see more of that in the next chapters, by the way.
14: How does your main character feel about being affectionate? How readily and easily can they say 'I love you' when they're ready?
Harry is a hesitant little flower, afraid of having his heart broken, but once he goes for it, he goes all in - devotion and all. Sadly, that's... not what we'll be seeing in In The Dark. Tom has a very different way of going about such things, and his wooing will be very effective in some ways, and not so much in others.
