Anzu often becomes distressed when Ella is asleep, for reasons we do not know (current working theory is that he can see ghosts and somehow this extends to Ella's astral presence during slumber)

he used to bark a lot when she was asleep which nobody liked. but he has made a lot of progress and now he simply stares at her like a creep. here's a few pictures in which he watches Sleeping Ella with the energy of the construction-watching Italian uncles

I am lying down in Kuzus bedroom bc I feel yucky and Anzu just took himself on a purposeful little walk in here in his inflatable post-surgical donut collar to drink from the little pink hamster water bottle in his crate and then scuttled away again
