My Uncle Yusaku Matsuda would have been 64 today. Sep 21, 1949 – Nov 6, 1989 He was a Japanese actor. In Japan he was best known for roles in action films and a variety of television series in the 1970s & 80's His final film appearance was as the villain Sato in Ridley Scott's Black Rain. In 1988 he was diagnosed with bladder cancer and did not realize the severity of his illness. He died at the age of 40. This October I am standing up for him and many other dear and close friends.
