AOC went live on twitch yesterday to get out the vote.
first, she played stardew valley for about 10 minutes and then VP candidate tim walz joined for about an hour. they played NFL 2k and then crazy taxi. finally, they reacted to some clips, including the "floating garbage" comment from the trump rally at madison square garden.
after walz left came the best part:
AOC talked candidly about the election, the stakes, the difference between trump and harris (it's a joke to pretend they're even close to the same for the day-to-day conditions of US lives, starting with abortion!!!), and why it matters. this was the best part, as walz is clearly a nice guy (and very much a Dad), but tends to stick to the same talking points and just hammered in on trump and vance instead of laying out a vision for the future. AOC's ability to understand that a path forward is more important than just attacking critics is a unique strength.
the nice thing is the puerto rico comment seemed to inspire bad bunny, ricky martin, and other high profile puerto ricans to post messages to social media in support of kamala harris.
just a few days left - let's get this home. to the leftists who know harris isn't as progressive as we'd like, you'll have plenty to critique once she's in office, so let's help get her there.
