Ah, another Reaper!Anne question. Dr Frakes. Will we get any story on her trying to get Anne's frog family?
Dr Frakes is that kind of character that its... meh, to me. like, there's nothing particularely interesing about her except she's a mad scientist.
NOW THERE'S SOMEONE ELSE I HAD IN MIND. A non-canon character.
You know how Mr. X its the "alien guy" in his organization? Well, what's if the organization its bigger? What if there's a "Magic and Supernatural Shit Guy"?
Now, this guy... he goes by Nobody (because having a name, even a fake how like Mr X, its dangerous because names have power over you so to have no name is to be safe), he'd been spying on Anne since she was born. This guy, i tell you, has a real knowledge of the supranatural, but he'd never seen a creature such as Anne.
Thinking of her as a changeling at first, he does what he does with changelings: he kidnaps baby Anne.
Bad choice, because baby Anne felt distressed an unleashed a wave of Death Power of him, not to different to what she did to Sprig, but with far less benevolent intention.
I mean, he's a kid kidnapper! He had it coming.
Anyway, Anne is rescued and Nobody is exposed to the police. Now, what Anne did to Nobody affected his mind. He's able to see ghosts and magical beings with his naked eyes, but his memory is starting to scramble. That, and the fact that he acted without proper cleareance, forced the agency to issue a "burn notice". Nobody is no longer an agent, and no other agency, official or unnoficial, should deal with him.
Cut 13 years later, Nobody is between odd jobs, about to be evicted, alcoholic and with his memory such a mess even HE doesn't remember his true name, so he is, actually, Nobody.
And then the girls go to Amphibia, and the anomaly of the Calamity Box causes him to regain some foothold on reality. He remembers the Boonchuys but don't remember from when or why, so he takes it to spy on them... by becoming a regular on the restaurant.
The Boonchuys never saw his face so they think he's just a down-on-his-luck nobody that simpatices with Anne dissappearence.
Then six months go by and Anne returns and Nobody SEES her. As her true self.
DING.
The lights go back on in his brain. THIS is the baby he kidnaped. THIS is the little girl that messed him up. THIS is the girl that RUINED HIS LIFE!
And he remembers everything now. Sure, no agency would take him but he has his supranatural know-how and his skills. And nobody suspects anything about him, nobody even looks at him. Because he IS a Nobody.
And he's gonna get back at Anne, with interests
