Who is your favorite character and why?

Mephisto Pheles my beloved 💞

There are a number of reasons why he is my favorite character, though the main reason why he's such a permanent favorite to me and why he's grown so close to my heart is the references and fact he's (to a certain extent) based on Mephistopheles from Goethe's Faust. Faust has been my favorite book for years and has played a huge role in why Mephisto is so precious to me!

Other than that he’s just so wonderfully unpredictable and complex. On the surface, he appears as this eccentric character with a love for chaos, and over-the-top personality but when you dig deeper, you realize there's so much more to him.

What I love most about Mephisto is the contrast between his comedic, carefree demeanor and the underlying darkness. He’s a demon, sure, but he’s not your typical villain. There's this layer of mystery to his actions which I find extremely enticing.

Plus, his sense of style and his ability to balance charm with menace is simply unmatched lol Mephisto’s not afraid to flaunt his power, but he does it in such an effortlessly charming way that it’s hard not to be drawn to him.

PROMPT #7: WHO HAD THE BIGGEST CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT?

Shiro Fujimoto

El desarrollo de Shiro fue algo que no me espere en la obra.

No pensé que Kato exploraria a un personaje que lo conocimos y lo vimos morir en el primer capitulo. No pensé que Shiro tendria más importancia que ser "El padre adoptivo de los gemelos Okumura"

Leer como poco a poco nos mostraban otras fasetas del personaje mediante recuerdos y anecdotas de otros personajes como Yukio, Kuro y Shura, fue bonito y tambien nos dejo ver que este viejito exorcista tenia muchos secretos, secretos que se llevo a la tumba porque ni Yukio, que era el gemelo más cercano a él, o Shura, que era su aprendiz, conocian.

Cuando se nos mostró la sección 13, los experimentos, el elixir y los clones; no pensé, no me imagine que Kato pondria que Shiro fue uno de los miles, que digo miles, ¡Millones! De sujetos de prueba. A mi casi se me cae el celular de la impresion. Con cada nueva cosa que salia de la sección 13, era una nueva sorpresa, una más shokeante que otra y luego, ¡El maldito Pandemonio se desata en Assiah! Y nos llevan al Arco de la Noche Azul y ¡Dios mio!

Yo me perdi cuando vi a Shiro joven. Osea ¿Cómo pasamos de esto...

A esto?

¿Un tipo frío y distante que por poco mata a dos infantes, a un viejo bromista, cálido y que ama mucho a sus hijos? ¿Cómo sucedió eso? Todo el Arco de la Noche Azul nos respondio eso.

Me gusto mucho su desarrollo. Me gusto mucho ver como Shiro se abria más a las personas y confiaba más en estas al punto que pidió la ayuda de los demas para cuidar a los gemelos.

Al final, el Yukiotoko frío y distante, mostro su lado más cálido... Lastimosamente, una persona muy especial para él no llegó a ver esa calides.
