Competitive Aoi... that's what happens if you push her to self-development, she'll start doing something, even if it's just out of spite, and if Teru had initially put her on a pedestal, like "you're already perfect in everything, Aoi!!", then she wouldn't even have any motivation-

Akane fueled Aoi's pride a little, btw. Even if it all stressed and embarrassed her, she still grew up with the mindset "well, it's all because I'm the best after all"

Teru and Aoi complement each other very well...he motivates and supports her, and also provides her with the dose of "straightforward peer friend" necessary for an adequate perception of the world. She also does not communicate with him as with the ideal senpai-hero, which he likes - and he especially likes when he is dominated, haha. She also became his friend, which is important for the little lonely Teru. Their relationship in the new flopworld is surprisingly well written, it's just a pity that it is for the sake of a minute of fanservice and teasing the audience, because this always happens. At least they made this fanservice (and it's a pity that it was so late, when my passion for Teruaoi fell, because a little earlier I would have broken through the roof of my house, flying into space on the energy of "AHAAA!!!")
