I wanted to draw fanart for the mods of this blog but then i realised I have no idea who or what your OCs are (if any), so I ended up not... I'd still really love to see your characters and maybe sketch them?? I'm not too good an artist but you've helped me a lot and I really want to do something for you guys!! Please and thank you!

I’d usually jump on the chance for someone to draw my dragon (cus’ OC FANART- AWESOME), but I’m not quite comfortable giving out my identity here by giving out my oc, so I’ll have to regretfully pass. I have to say, I’m a big fan of spirals and spots (if my name didn’t already let that cat out of the bag), if that gives you any ideas~ plus, we all enjoy fanart of our mascot (the dragon in the banner) whenever we get it!

I personally wouldn’t mind showing my ~fabulous~ OC. I don’t care much for anonymity. People who bash will bash. I know that, I do it a lot, too! Haa.

BUT. It’s not a dragon. Well, no or yes whatever I don’t even know.The most recent image is from March, which is old in my book. The proportions are flawed, which is silly as I’m a mod and all- B’hey. I just haven’t got the time to draw something nice as I’m so busy working on a videogame and all! ;-; 

Maybe I’ll draw the character some time when I have more free time on my hands. I probably wouldn’t mind showing, then. Haah.

Fan art tho. Aaaaaaaah.Perhaps you could indeed have a try at the mascot! She’s fab.

-Vark): As nice as fanart is, and how very kind of you to offer it, I’m afraid I don’t want to risk my anonymity. I would say my characters would probably… be very traceable to me if I were to ever show them. Not because I’m a big popular artist (far from it!) but I just…. haven’t seen any other characters that look like ‘em. That and I don’t really have any dragon OCs myself- I mostly stick to human ones. Aaand I fear that if I ever revealed my artwork to someone, they’d suddenly loose respect for me and the blog. I’m not really any more than mediocre at best, my anatomy is hardly great and I’m still just starting to include colour theory in my work. My knowledge in everything is waayyy better than how I can apply it, and my knowledge is patchy at best. I’m simply too lazy to sit there and study art all the time (especially when I get home from work feeling too exhausted to do anything until 11pm). I feel like people would judge me for not practicing what I preach, yaknow? And as the creator of the blog, its probably going to weigh on me a loooott harsher. But really, thank you very much for the offer! And I don’t know so much about the other mods, but its really reward enough for me to see artists grow and improve. While I make a hobby out of having a giggle at bad art, I genuinely love to see people get better. I love to see people developing their own styles, making experimental pieces, learning about colour, and improving their anatomy. I get a GENUINE smile every time I see an artist I recognise get better! That and I truly appreciate people who, even if they aren’t that good yet, always look to better themselves and asking for advice and trying new things.
