i miss hange's greasy ass and i miss moblit's decidedly clean but alcoholic ass
I struggled in fitting all the people in the first row.
Edit: I realised I forgot to add Sasha's picture.
@canislycaon24 food 🤲
why do you not like mobuhan
don't think it warrants any sort of warning but this is an opinion post, if you're a diehard mobuhan stan maybe scroll away huehehuehhejhs 🥹 well. i suppose i should explain myself. 'cause there are reasons other than me being a levihan shipper why i don't think mobuhan is all that. or anything tbh (wait that sounds rude. i'm sorry) first, i prefer ships with some sort of chemistry or history (which is why i never have much interest in most rarepairs in a lot of my fandoms. now you might be asking oh but you ship erumiche they only interacted once!! see here man. they've been friends since the training corps so they don't count). moblit being hange's assistant barely counts as anything to me
uhh how do i say this,, moblit being hange's assistant was all that he was to her. i think it was hange's character interview where she said that "the stuff moblit says is motherly" so it's not romantic at its core (though if i'm taking it out of context or misinterpreting it correct me ofc ❤️❤️). i'm not saying they didn't care about each other, they cared immensely for one another, were friends and i'd never erase that, but there was literally nothing that ever implied they were in love. or anything like that idk. to go from motherly to romantic is a bit of a stretch i'm not willing to take personally. second--- i'm gonna be so honest with you here and i feel shitty for saying it but i forgot all about that man when i first watched aot. there was nothing overly exceptional about his character (which pains me to say). his main purpose was to be hange's assistant and keep her from endangering herself. this sort of leads to how i don't like the way he's only seen as a romantic interest to her through the fandom and ignored otherwise, which adds to my dislike of the ship. also idk but based off how hange is i don't think it'd be a good dynamic. not that hange'd ever be the type to willingly hurt her partner, but that much constant stress on moblit is in no way healthy "but he was the last thing she saw with both eyes! they had so much chemistry!!" that's not inherently romantic. his death was his last act to protect hange as her assistant which is probably the only thing that could be truly read as romantic but with everything else considered it kinda gets torn down. NOW!!! this is my opinion. i'm not asking anybody to take this to heart, i'm not trying to pass this off as gospel i'm merely stating why i don't think it's that awesome of a ship coming from someone who likes substance (i don't know how to say it) oh my god i didn't mean to sound so aggressive while writing this i'm so sorry fuck
𖦹 moblit berner aesthetic

I like the idea of Levi visiting moblits grave often to thank him and to just talk about what he’s missing. Like no he didn’t know moblit well but he appreciated what he did

After the holidays settled down, you finally moved into Levi’s apartment. Monochrome shelves full of dull colored books now hold bright pops of color, decorated by your little trinkets. His bedsheets change from gray with a black comforter to blue floral sheets with a white comforter, with your plushies setting nicely against the pillows.
Levi didn’t ever think he’d like a lot of color in his home, but now…he doesn’t mind. His apartment feels warmer and brighter with you and your presence in it.
He gave you the extra room in his apartment for your hobbies; allowing all your manga, figurines, and cosplay items to be displayed there.
Even Lint has a pop of color, the black cat now donning a blue collar with a bow tie.
Everything has come together for you and Levi, bringing him a sense of peace he never thought he’d feel. Only six months together and he knows he wants this for the rest of his life.
The end of your respective work’s winter breaks had finally come to an end with the blaring of the alarm on your nightstand, making you groan. As you open your eyes, a small smile captures your lips upon seeing Lint sleeping on your chest.
“Good morning my handsome boy,” you say sleepily, petting the purring cat.
You hear Levi grumble, rolling over and placing his head on your chest, right next to Lint’s body.
Raising your hand, you gently scratch Levi’s undercut.
“Thought I was your handsome boy,” Levi grumbles, wrapping his arms around your waist.
“Well you are, but our son is just as handsome,” you smile.
Levi looks over at the alarm clock, the display reading 6:37 AM. “Five more minutes,” he whispers, pressing a small kiss to your sternum.
“Okay,” you whisper, closing your eyes. “I’ll make you breakfast when we get up.”
Levi nods, and the two of you lay in comfortable, sleepy silence for a few more minutes.
As promised, Levi gets up just a few minutes later. “I’m gonna go shower, angel.”
You nod, sitting up and stretching. “Mm…okay! What did you want for breakfast?”
“You decide. I’ll be happy with whatever,” he smiles.
You stand up and feel his eyes on you. You’d fallen asleep in his t-shirt the night before after a heavy bout of making love. Your thighs are covered in bite marks, your neck littered with hickeys.
“Don’t even think about it. I’m sore,” you huff, knowing exactly what’s on his mind.
“Rude.” he smirks. “I’ll be out in a minute.”
He steps into the bathroom and you walk with Lint out into the kitchen. He immediately heads over to his automatic feeder while you walk over to the fridge. “Hm…I can use the pancake batter I made a few days ago,” you murmur to yourself, pulling a squeeze bottle of batter out of the fridge.
You like to consider yourself quite the multi-tasker, so while you’re heating up a pan to make the pancakes in, you grab another to make him some sausage and eggs.
You dance around the kitchen as you make breakfast, singing along to the music you started playing on your phone. You were singing along to ‘Girls talk Boys’ by 5 Seconds of Summer when you suddenly felt a pair of strong arms around your waist, making you gasp.
“Levi! How many times have I told you not to do that!” you pout, turning around and smacking his arm lightly.
He lets out a laugh, kissing your cheek in return. “Hm…sorry not sorry.” Looking around to the array of food on the stove, he hums, “What did you make?”
“Pancakes, sausage and eggs. I needed to use the rest of that pancake batter. Now go sit, and I’ll get you all dished up.”
“Yes ma’am.”
He sits at the table, his eyes never leaving you as you dish up his food, not even asking his preferences, you know all of them already.
You set the plate of food in front of him, huffing. “No tea today, apparently we underestimated how much tea we had. I’ll grab some today on my lunch break. Sorry, honey.”
“It’s okay, baby.” He smiles.
You give him a small smile in return as you dish up your own plate and sit down beside him and eat, pressed up against him as you do.
As the two of you finish and he heads out the door, he turns back to you. “I forgot, I have a meeting a bit later than normal, so I’ll be home late from work today. But I’ll keep you updated.”
“Okay! Be safe!” you grin against his cheek.
“Bye, baby.” he smiles, kissing your forehead in return.
⏔⏔⏔ ꒰ ᧔ෆ᧓ ꒱ ⏔⏔⏔
He doesn’t normally lie to you, but today he had to. It was for a good cause, but still, it was weighing on his heart. He did have a meeting, but not for work.
“Oh my gosh, you didn’t tell me that you knew Petra and Oulo too!” Zoe exclaims, hugging the girl tightly.
Levi cracks a tiny smile and nods. “What a small world.”
This meeting was with Erwin, Zoe, Jess, Moblit, Petra, and Oulo. Levi needed advice. And why not ask people in different stages of relationships? Erwin and Jess were married, Hange and Moblit were engaged, and Petra and Oulo were in a newer relationship.
The group is sitting in a small restaurant, tucked in a booth at the back.
“So, what did you call us all here for today, Levi?” Erwin asks, leaning forward.
Levi gulps. He didn’t expect to feel so nervous talking about this.
“I want to propose to Y/N. But I don’t know if it’s too soon, or if it’s okay-” Levi starts.
“I never thought I’d see you want to settle down, Levi.” Zoe hums. Their voice isn’t loud and boisterous like normal, it’s soft and contemplative.
“I never thought I would either. But…I really love her. And I genuinely can’t imagine my life without her. So that’s why I wanted the perspectives of all of you. I want to know your relationships and how you knew, when you knew to propose, or how early you talked about it.”
“Well,” Jess starts, taking Erwin’s hand and looking up at him dreamily. “We were only dating for three months when Erwin proposed. Freshman year of college, too.”
“T-three months?” Levi chokes out.
Erwin nods, pressing his lips to the back of Jess’ hand. “When you know, you know. And I knew I wanted to marry her after our first date. The three months was just…being polite.” he chuckles.
“And we were engaged for only six months before we were married.” Jess chimes in.
“So…you were together not even a year before you were married…?” Levi asks in awe.
“Yep. And now here we are, two kids and ten years later, happy as we can ever be.” Erwin smiles.
“Yeah, it’s different for everyone,” Zoe shrugs. “I mean, Moblit and I were dating since, what, our junior year of high school, and he didn’t propose until last month.”
Moblit hums in agreement, “Yeah, we dated for ten years. We had talked about it a lot before though, just never agreeing on what the right time was. Then we decided there would never be a right time if we kept waiting. So I proposed.”
Zoe smiles and kisses his cheek, causing a light pink to grace the tips of his ears.
“Oulo and I have talked about marriage, but we don’t think we’re going to for a little bit, just so we can make sure we’re both super ready!” Petra pipes up.
“We literally talked about it on our first date,” he chuckles. “Like Erwin and Jess, it was immediate, but we both just want to be prepared, y’know?”
Levi nods, taking in all the information that was thrown at him. “Okay…so then how do I talk to her parents? What if they think it’s too early?”
Erwin shrugs. “It really depends. It took some convincing for Jess’ parents to let me propose. Her parents were very protective over her, and they wanted to make sure that she was truly going to be cared for.”
“I’ve only met her parents once, but they seemed to really like me. Should I try and spend more time with them?” Levi asks.
Erwin nods. “Absolutely. You want to show them who you are, that you’re willing to learn about them and their entire family.”
“Okay…I think I can make that work.” Levi murmurs.
“Are you thinking of rings, too?” Zoe asks, taking a sip of their drink.
“A little bit. All she’s said is she wants a…gray gemstone.” he huffs, a small smile on his face as he recalls the conversation. “I have also noticed that she tends to wear silver more…she has a few gold pieces but she rarely ever wears them. I’ve been looking at a few of them, but surprisingly, grey stones are hard to find for an engagement ring.”
“I say snoop around for a bit longer, see if you can take a peek at her Pinterest boards or something. Or maybe even just spend some time in the jewelry sections at stores to see what she looks at.” Moblit says. “That’s how I figured out what Zoe wanted.”
“Do you have a timeline?” Petra asks.
“Prefereably in the next three, maybe four months. I just…” Levi’s voice trails off as he tries to find his words. “I want to be sure that she wants it as much as I do. I mean like, we have talked about it, but I don’t want things to suddenly come crashing down if she changed her mind and didn’t tell me. I really, really don’t want to lose her.”
He looks down at his hands, not even wanting to think about losing you. The mere thought of it makes his heart hurt.
“So, from what I’ve gathered, here’s our advice: spend more time with her, snoop around a bit to see what she wants in a ring, and bring up the conversation of marriage more.” Erwin says. “You got this Levi.”
Levi cracks a small smile. “Thanks guys, and thanks for coming out here to meet me. I should head out, though. I don’t want to keep her waiting.”
“Go get your girl!” Zoe calls out.
He leaves money behind to cover all their meals and heads out the door to go home, stopping only to get you flowers as an apology for being home late.
He gets to your shared apartment and opens the door quietly, nearly falling to his knees at the sight in front of him.
It’s only seven-thirty, but you’re asleep on the couch, wearing one of his hoodies, a blanket covering your legs, and a half-eaten bowl of popcorn teetering on your chest. Lint, who was laying at your feet, pops his head up, letting out a meow as his eyes land on Levi.
“Shh…don’t wake momma,” Levi whispers, walking over to pet Lint, who purrs at the contact.
Your eyes open and you whine softly, letting out a stretch. “Hm? Oh, baby…” You smile.
“Good morning, princess,” he teases, walking over and pressing a kiss to your forehead. “I got flowers for you.”
You sit up and give him a sleepy grin while Lint jumps next to you, wanting pets from him as well. “Oh, Levi!” You take the bouquet and smile. “How was your meeting?”
Levi’s cheeks flush a bit and he looks away shyly. “Good. Very informative.”
“Informative and good as in it was actually good, or informative as in you were ready to fall asleep during the meeting?”
“Let’s go with the latter,” he murmurs. “Erwin kicked my leg under the table a few times.”
You giggle and stand up, pressing your lips to his cheek. “You gotta stay awake then.” You pull away to look at him, giving him a smile. “Are you hungry, my love?”
He wraps an arm around your waist, burying his face in your neck. “A little. I can order some food for us if you want?”
“It’s up to you,” you smile, pressing a kiss to his temple.
Gosh, he was so in love with you.
“I’ll pick something out for us, you go back and rest.”
“Only if you come lay down with me,” you smile, pulling him to the couch.
He chuckles, following you there, collapsing next to you. “No complaints about that.”
⏔⏔⏔ ꒰ ᧔ෆ᧓ ꒱ ⏔⏔⏔
“So…how have things been with you and Levi?” Petra asks, giggling softly.
“Good,” you hum, unable to hide the smile on your lips. “We’ve been talking about marriage!”
Petra gasps. “What! Girl! Since when!”
“Just over the past month or two…” you murmur.
“So you’re serious about him, huh?” Petra smiles, resting her chin on her hand. “And after so soon, too!”
“Yeah, I know it is kind of soon, but…can you blame me? The way he looks at me makes me feel like I’m the only girl in the world. I want him to look at me like that forever. But also the way he makes me feel! I didn’t know that it was possible to love someone as much as I love him. I love everything about him, from the way he tries to hold back laughter whenever Lint trips over himself, to the way he’ll tuck me into bed whenever he gets home late and I’m asleep.”
“You’re gone, girl!” she squeals.
“You didn’t notice before?” you laugh. “He’s my soulmate! I genuinely don’t want anyone else! It’s the same way you feel about Oulo. When you know, you just know.”
“I guess that’s true. Do you think he’s going to propose? Like, relatively soon?”
“Maybe. We’ve been spending a lot more time with my parents, especially my dad. I heard him on the phone the other night, talking about how important it is for him to get to know my parents. Sounds like he’s been asking for advice, which is really cute.”
“Ooh, maybe,” Petra giggles, acting like she has no idea what you’re talking about. “Have you been leaving ring ideas and stuff?”
“Please, I feel like he’ll know what I want. Besides, I might have accidentally seen his Google searches for engagement rings with grey stones.”
“Grey? Why grey?” she asks, tilting her head.
“The color of his eyes,” you say simply. “Grey is one of the rarest eye colors in the world, and I want to carry his eyes with me. It’s like he’ll be with me always.”
“Wait, that’s actually so sweet,” she pouts. “Does he know that?”
“I’ll tell him at our wedding,” you chuckle. “It’ll be a secret between us for now.”
“If you say so,” she giggles.
⏔⏔⏔ ꒰ ᧔ෆ᧓ ꒱ ⏔⏔⏔
Levi takes his friends’ advice very seriously. The two of you are at your parents house every other weekend, and your dad loves him enough to take him on outings every time you go over.
“You love Levi more than me, Dad!” you whine playfully.
“Can’t help it; he’s the son I never had,” your father says proudly. “Now come on, Levi. Let’s go.”
Levi chuckles, blowing you a kiss as he gets dragged out the door.
“Wait, dad, where are you taking him?” you call out before the door.
“Oh, just a nice father and son talk!” he smiles, shutting the door behind them.
“Father and son talk…?” you question, watching Levi’s car leave the driveway and peel down the road.
“So…” your mother starts the moment that Levi and your dad are out of sight.
“Wow, you can’t even wait for a second, huh?” you laugh.
“Heaven forbid that I want to know what’s going on in my only child’s life!” she huffs, a smile on her face.
“We’re talking…” you smile, “he keeps bringing it up, and I keep bringing it up. I keep leaving my Pinterest open,” you giggle.
“Do you think he’s gotten any hints, then?”
“He’s a smart man, mom. I’m sure he’s gotten it by now.”
“So tell me: we’ve never really talked about a wedding. But you’re our only child, so we can go all out.”
You lean back, pondering. “I think he would want a small wedding. I think I’d like that, too. Maybe fifty people max. Just close friends.”
Her gaze softens. “That sounds wonderful. Whatever you want, your dad and I can do it for you. You deserve it, you know that right? You’ve worked so hard for everything.”
Your eyes fill with tears and you hug her. You were so lucky to have loving parents that really and truly cared about you.
“We’ll do anything you and Levi want,” she whispers.
“I love you, Momma.”
“I love you, too, honey.”
⏔⏔⏔ ꒰ ᧔ෆ᧓ ꒱ ⏔⏔⏔
“So where are we headed?” Levi asks your father.
“Just going on a drive. A little bit of a talk, if you will.” your father smiles.
Levi gulps, looking forward. “I see.”
“I feel like I don’t need to ask since I think I already know. But…what are your intentions with my daughter? You’ve been dating for–what, six months now?” he asks, keeping his eyes on the road.
Levi felt like he was going to piss himself. He knew what the answer was but why did he feel so nervous answering?
“Uh…well, sir. I love your daughter very much. And I hope to propose in the next three or four months, hopefully married within the next six to eight.” Levi says, speaking with more confidence than he feels.
“You’ve got everything planned out. That’s good. You’re good for her.” your father smiles. “I’ve never seen her look so happy and bright. You brought out a side of my little girl that I didn’t even know she had.”
“I want to take care of her forever,” Levi admits quietly. “I’ve never had this much love for someone, nor have I ever felt so loved.”
“You’re gonna make me cry if you keep talking like that, son.” your father chuckles wetly.
“I mean it, though. Thank you for raising her to be the way she is. I…I feel like I would be lost right now if I didn’t have her.”
Your father pulls over to park the car, looking over at him. “C’mere, son.” He reaches across the dash, pulling Levi into a hug. “Welcome to the family.”
Levi can’t help the tears that well in his eyes as he buries his face in your father’s neck. “Thank you.”
Your dad squeezes him one more time before pulling away. “Have you thought about how you wanna do it yet?”
“A little? I was thinking of taking her on a trip,” Levi shrugs, “maybe to Hizuru? I’ve got a trainee who visits there with her family every year, and it looks absolutely beautiful.”
“Ah! Hizuru! Yes! She’d love it there.” your father chuckles. “And Levi, I’d love to send you on the trip. I don’t want you spending a dime.”
Levi turns to your father, horrified and flabbergasted. “W-what? Sir, I can’t let you–”
“You can and you will. You’re going to become my son-in-law; I want to spoil her, and now you. You let me know when you want to go, and I’ll book everything.”
“Thank you...I…don’t even know what to say.” Levi says softly.
“You don’t need to say anything, Levi.” your father smiles patting Levi’s shoulder.
“I’ll pay you back for this, I promise.”
Your father frowns. “Firstly, it’s a gift, and second, the only payment I’ll accept is you taking care of Y/N for the rest of her life.”
“I can promise that.”
“Good.”
⏔⏔⏔ ꒰ ᧔ෆ᧓ ꒱ ⏔⏔⏔
“Mom and Dad want us to come over for dinner, baby!” you call out to Levi from your bedroom.
“Sounds good. When?” he calls back, walking to the bedroom to join you.
“Tonight if we can…They said they have a surprise for us!” you giggle.
Levi smiles and walks to the bed, kneeling on your side of the bed. “Oh, do they now?”
You nod eagerly. “I wonder what it could be!”
Levi shrugs, pressing a kiss to your nose. “Who knows? But either way, I bet it'll be fun. When do you wanna head over?”
“Maybe in like the next hour or so? We can go play games and help with dinner. But I wanna cuddle you first.”
“No complaints here,” he smiles. He stands up and looks at you with a mischievous smile.
Your eyes widen as you realize what he’s about to do. “Levi– no–”
He jumps on the bed, landing on you, making you let out a small yelp.
“Mmmm, so comfy,” he purrs, nuzzling his head into your chest.
“You’re gonna kill me if you keep doing that,” you wheeze, wrapping your arms around him.
“At least you’d die being smothered by the one you love,” he smiles.
“Yeah, yeah. Now c’mere, lover boy, and lemme spoon you.”
⏔⏔⏔ ꒰ ᧔ෆ᧓ ꒱ ⏔⏔⏔
“Hi, Mom, hi, Dad!” you chirp as you walk in the door.
“My babies!” she giggles, running up to you and Levi, enveloping you both in a hug.
“Hi, mom.” Levi says softly.
She pulls away and pats his back. “How are you both?”
“Good,” you smile. “Where’s dad?” you ask, looking around.
“In the garage, just setting up your surprise,” your mom giggles.
“Oh, Momma, tell me what it is!” you whine, missing the knowing look your mother gives Levi. Your head is running wild with crazy thoughts of what the surprise could be: another
“Just wait a few more minutes, honey.” She chuckles. “You get your impatience from your father, that’s for sure.”
“Y/N! Levi!” you hear your father’s voice call from the garage.
You waste no time in grabbing Levi’s hand and dragging him to the garage with you.
“Levi, cover her eyes!” your dad yells.
He nods and quickly gets behind you, making sure to cover your eyes fully. “You blind yet?”
“Hey!” you huff.
“Dad’s orders,” he chuckles, kissing your cheek as he leads you to the garage.
You finally stop when you assume you’re at the garage. “Okay, you can let her see now.”
When you open your eyes, you gasp. The garage is decorated with pictures of Hizuru, silly streamers, and a table with a large golden envelope sitting on top of it.
“Dad…” you say softly, walking to the table. “What is all this?”
“Go ahead and open it, honey.” he says fondly.
You look back to Levi and he smiles, taking your hand to walk with you to the table.
He squeezes your hand as you take the envelope in your hands and open it.
Pulling out what’s inside, tears fill your eyes. Plane tickets to Hizuru, and a hotel booking for one of the nicest hotels in one of the smaller countries.
You run to your dad, throwing your arms around him. Your mom joins as well, wrapping her arms around you and pulling Levi into the group hug.
“Have a good time, honey. Spend lots of time together and fall in love even more.” Your dad whispers, kissing the top of your head.
“I love you both so much,” you murmur against your father’s chest.
“We love you too, baby.” Your mom smiles.
Levi looks over at your dad, who gives him a sneaky wink.
“When is this even happening?” you murmur, turning back around to grab the envelope.
“Four months. I love you, but not enough to spend an arm and a leg on flights. And, you’re staying for two weeks.” your dad chuckles.
“I’m so grateful, thank you Dad.” you smile, kissing his cheek.
“Thank Levi. He wanted to take you on a trip, but I didn’t want to let him pay for it.”
You look at Levi with a suggestive grin, wrapping your arms around him. “Oh, did he now?”
“Someone’s getting lucky tonight,” your dad giggles.
Your face heats up, but you can’t even deny it; Levi will be getting some tonight. “Dad!”
“Just being honest, honey. We know what it’s like to be in a relationship,” your dad chuckles, pulling your mom close.
You squeal, hiding your face in Levi’s neck. “Shut up!”
“Shh, it’ll be okay,” Levi chuckles.
⏔⏔⏔ ꒰ ᧔ෆ᧓ ꒱ ⏔⏔⏔
The months leading up to your trip, you never stopped thanking Levi and your parents. You were genuinely so grateful for him and your parents, and you needed to keep expressing it.
You saved more money than you usually do for trips, even buying an extra suitcase just to take things home.
“You’re acting like we’re about to move there,” Levi scoffs, admiring how cute you look as you make a packing list. “You’re adorable, y’know that?”
“Levi, you don’t understand! All the snacks, all the cosplay things I can get, even little trinkets and beauty products!” you rattle off excitedly. “I’m gonna come back with so much stuff. Our apartment will be filled to the brim!” you beam.
“You’re too cute,” he chuckles softly, walking over and pressing a kiss to your cheek. “I’ll let you plan the itinerary so we can do everything you want.”
“Really?” you ask, your eyes going wide. “Levi, you’re joking. I want you to plan some stuff, too!”
Levi hums, tapping his chin playfully, as if in thought. “Okay. I’ll plan one activity, and then I’ll let you plan the rest.”
You look at him, biting your lip. “I plan on us spending a lot of time in the hotel room.”
“Oh, do you, now?” he chuckles deeply, getting on the bed to hover over you.
“Of course…” you hum, checking him out as he looms over you. “...think we could get a head start?”
⏔⏔⏔ ꒰ ᧔ෆ᧓ ꒱ ⏔⏔⏔
It was finally time for you and Levi to head out to Hizuru. While your boyfriend dressed somewhat nicely in a t-shirt and a pair of jeans, you couldn’t be bothered to wear anything other than sweats and one of his hoodies.
Seated in economy plus, you had enough room to snuggle up to Levi throughout the flight. You were watching lets-plays on youtube, your head on his shoulder while he read from a new book he had gotten.
He wasn’t going to mention that you drooled on him on more than one occasion on the twenty-one hour flight. He also wasn’t going to mention how many pictures he took of you asleep, and also half-asleep while eating snacks and meals.
When you started whining about being too cramped, he let you throw your legs over his lap to make sure you were comfortable, even massaging your feet while doing so.
When the two of you are finally off the plane, he goes to gather all the luggage while you sleepily trudge to the bathroom. He jumps a bit when you wrap your arms around him from behind.
“Jeez, honey, you scared me!” he murmurs, leaning back into your touch.
“Sorry,” you smile, pressing a kiss to his shoulder blade.
You roll your suitcases beside his as you walk out, watching as he hails a cab for the two of you. He’s so handsome. So perfect. You want to marry him so badly.
On the drive to the hotel, his hand is on your thigh, as if he’s keeping himself grounded. You noticed that he’d been acting nervous leading up to this trip.
Resting your hand on top of his and squeezing, you ask, “Are you doing okay, baby?” you ask softly.
He turns to look at you, his eyes soft. “Everything is perfect, angel. Just thinking about how lucky I am to have you. I love you.”
You can’t help but blush, even after all this time. “I love you, too.”
The two of you get to the hotel, with you on the verge of falling asleep while he’s more awake, wanting to make sure both of you get there safely.
You gasp as you’re shown not only the hotel, but your hotel room as well! Your father had gotten you and Levi the penthouse on the top floor of the hotel!
You’re certainly more awake as you let out a squeal and begin to run around, looking at everything around you. “Levi!” you laugh, spinning around in a circle, “Look at all of this!” There’s a California King bed, a minibar, a closet big enough for you and him to both walk into, a giant TV, and a huge window that gives you a perfect view of the skyline.
As he’s watching you giggle and run around the room, he gets that confirmation once again that you’re the one that he’s supposed to marry.
“I see, angel.” he chuckles. “It’s a nice room, isn’t it? Even your dad didn’t tell me he was getting us the penthouse. This was very sweet of him.”
“It was, we’ll need to get him a good gift from here to say thank you,” you yawn.
“I agree,” he hums, “now, c’mon, pretty girl. Let’s get ready for bed and go to sleep. We can unpack and put everything away later.”
You nod and go to your suitcase, grabbing what you need and going to the bathroom, quietly gasping at the sheer size of it, but choosing to not say anything for the moment.
He joins you only moments later, placing his hygiene kit next to yours. The excitement you showed only moments earlier has already faded, replaced with your exhaustion from earlier.
“Do you want me to grab your pajamas, pretty?” Levi asks as he leaves the bathroom.
“Yes, please,” you hum.
He nods and goes to your suitcase, grabbing your pajamas as you finish getting ready for bed.
When you walk out, he hands them to you, watching you adoringly as you take them and change into them, dropping your clothes onto the floor. This is what he’s looking forward to seeing the rest of his life: watching you in your sleepiest and most vulnerable moments.
He picks up your clothes, putting them in a collapsible laundry hamper he brought along, turning around to see you crawling in the bed.
He chuckles, quickly changing into his own pajamas before joining you in bed, where you immediately snuggle up to him, resting your head on his chest.
“Goodnight, Levi. I love you,” you murmur sleepily.
He presses a kiss to the top of your head, wrapping his arm around you. “Goodnight, angel,” he whispers.
It doesn’t feel like Levi slept for as long as he did. He’s surprised to see the clock reading 10:19 am as he looks over at it with bleary eyes. After rubbing his eyes he looks over to see that you’re still asleep, curled up against his chest like you never moved. “Good morning, Y/N. You ready to get up?”
You open your eyes and sit up, looking like a disheveled cat. “Hm…do we have to? We’re on vacation…”
He chuckles and reaches up to cup your cheek, and you immediately nuzzle your cheek into his palm. “But you have a whole itinerary planned for us, hm? And it’s nearly lunchtime, my love; you were sleeping like a rock.”
“Shower first? I feel gross after flying and then going to sleep.” you yawn.
He nods, rolling out of bed. “I’ll go get it started.”
You watch him as he walks off to the bathroom, stretching one more time then getting off the bed to follow behind him.
He’s already naked when you walk in, his hand under the showerhead as he waits for the water to warm up. The bathroom is spacious, the shower alone big enough to hold maybe five people side by side in it.
A part of you gets aroused at seeing him like this, but another part is so fond. He’s told you many times that he’s built to hold you. He looks like this so he can carry you and make sure you don’t ever have to do anything that would hurt you. Strong arms, thick thighs, and he’s never heard you say it, but you do like how good his butt always looks.
“You’re staring,” he says softly, the tips of his ears red.
“Just a little.” you smile, shutting the bathroom door and undressing, leaving your clothes in a pile on the floor.
You get into the shower first, sighing as you feel the hot water running down your body. “Thank you for always making the shower super hot even though I know you don’t like it,” you hum.
“Anything for you,” he smiles, getting in behind you. His arms wrap around your waist and his hands rub your stomach, softly massaging the flesh there. “Do you want me to wash your hair?”
You nod, completely melting into his touch. He lets go of you to pump shampoo on his hands and lather it in your hair, gently massaging it into your scalp. You can’t help but let out a small whine at the feeling, it feels so nice whenever he does it.
“I get to wash your hair after,” you hum.
“Of course,” he muses.
He rinses out the shampoo, and does the same with the conditioner. When he’s done, he quickly squeezes your breasts, making you let out a squeak. “Hey!”
He lets out a mischievous giggle as you smack his arm. “Sorry, not sorry.”
He calms down as he lets you wash his hair, and you can’t help but grin as he melts into you, the same way you did with him.
“So what’s on the menu for today?” he asks as you grab some shower gel and start washing his body.
“There’s a cherry blossom festival this evening. Lots of food vendors, souvenirs, things like that.” you hum.
“Sounds good.” he smiles.
He takes his turn washing your body, pinching you every now and then, that same mischievous giggle leaving his lips over and over.
He dries your hair with the blowdryer as you do your skincare, a familiar routine the two of you started soon after you started living together.
You went to dinner at a small local restaurant, nearly tearing up at how good the food was.
When you leave the restaurant, you take your time walking around, your heart skipping a beat each time you see children running around and laughing or holding hands with their parents. Levi’s grip on you stays firm as you explore, as if he’s afraid of letting you go. He can’t help but smile each time you point out the different food and souvenir stalls, the way your eyes light up with curiosity as you walk to the center of the festival, where all the biggest trees are.
“Hold on, baby. I want to take a picture of you. New wallpaper,” Levi smiles. He directs you to stand in front of a cherry blossom tree that’s got some lanterns hanging on the branches.
He looks at you through his phone screen: you’re wearing a white dress with a pink cardigan, white ruffled socks and sneakers, your hair perfectly styled with small pink and white bows you had put in it.
You smile widely, striking a cute pose. His heart hammers in his chest as he looks at you, and it takes all his willpower to actually just take the photo instead of just staring at you.
When he finally takes it, he sighs. “You look perfect, baby.”
“Ooh, you have a crush on me,” you tease.
He pulls you closer, chuckling. “Guess I do.”
The rest of the evening goes perfectly, the two of you eating street food to your heart’s content, playing games at different stalls and walking back to the hotel with a handful of trinkets.
The next day the two of you get up early, going on an all-day hike to visit different religious temples in the mountains.
“I’m gonna die,” you pant, leaning up against a tree. “I…I’m gonna cancel the other hikes we had planned. I’m not doing this again.” Your face is red, glinting with sweat, and you look like you’re about to pass out.
All of your pain is forgotten when you reach the summit, and Levi had a look in his eyes as he took all the architecture and colors around him.
“You’re glowing, baby,” you say softly.
He turns to you, caught off guard by the comment. “Don’t say stuff like that.” he murmurs.
“You’re still not used to it?” you giggle, kissing his cheek.
“Don’t think I ever will be.”
The night ended with the two of you ordering room service and watching a movie, opting in for a cozy night after a long day of hikes.
Day three you dragged him to the shopping district, making him hold your bags full of figurines and music albums the whole day.
“You’re the best boyfriend ever. I love you.” you smile between kisses to his cheek. “My strong, handsome boyfriend.”
He leans into your kisses willingly, unable to stop the smile gracing his lips. “You’re lucky I love you.”
“You’re right. I am extremely lucky. Mwah!” You smile, pressing one last kiss to his cheek.
Day four the two of you decide to spend the day at the beach that your hotel was on. You were wearing a simple black one piece, and Levi was wearing black swim shorts with nice, colorful greenery across it.
“Ooh, I could just eat you up,” you purr, wrapping your arms around his neck.
“Careful with what you say, or we’ll end up staying in the room the whole day,” he chuckles.
You sigh dramatically. “Ugh, I guess.” you let go of him and grab your beach bag. “Ready to go, sweetheart?”
Levi nods, taking your hand. “Yep, let’s go.”
The two of you head down to the beach, and though it’s busy, you’re able to find a spot to set everything down.
Levi tries to get a little handsy while putting sunscreen on you, only stopping when you smack his hand.
He giggles, squeezing your butt one more time before you put sunscreen on, squeezing his butt in return.
“You little–” he starts.
You squeal, dropping the sunscreen and running to the water, Levi hot on your tail. You make it only a few steps into the water before his arms wrap around you from behind, lifting you off the ground.
“Ah! Levi!” you laugh.
“Got you!” he growls, pulling you close.
You squirm and turn around in his arms, laughing, wrapping your arms around his neck again, dragging your fingernails lightly across his undercut.
He sighs, resting his forehead against yours. “Are you having fun, baby?” he asks softly.
“So much fun, Levi. I love seeing this side of you,” you whisper, nudging your nose against his.
He leans in, pressing his lips against yours. The saltiness of the air mixes with the sweetness of his kiss. It’s not rushed, almost as if he’s savoring every moment that your lips are mingling with his.
He pulls away, smiling. Every moment he spends with you, he wants to propose. But he knows he has to wait, just a few more days.
The rest of that first week is filled with food tours, visiting local museums, and going back to the beach.

Levi wakes up on the seventh day of your two week vacation. Today is the day. He was going to propose to you, the love of his life. The day had to be perfect.
Starting with your favorite thing to do together: cuddling.
He looks down at you, your eyes barely open as you rub small hearts on his stomach. “Good morning, angel.” he whispers, kissing the top of your head.
“Hi…” you murmur, burying your face in his neck.
“You wanna get up yet?” Levi asks, rubbing your back.
“No…wanna stay here with you,” you whisper.
“Okay. We can stay here as long as you want.”
“Do we have lots of plans today?” you ask, closing your eyes once again.
“You’ll see, baby. Just go back to sleep.”
You nod, letting out a sigh as you fall back into a deep sleep.
It’s another two hours before the two of you get up. But Levi doesn’t mind. This day is centered around you, making sure you’re the happiest you’ve ever been.
“I know you planned today, but what’s the dress code?” you ask as you get ready.
“I just want you to feel beautiful today, angel,” he says, looking at you adoringly.
Your heart skips a beat at his words. You can’t deny that you were suspicious about what might happen, but you couldn’t be sure.
He took you to a small local mom-and-pop diner, where you had chicken katsu curry for brunch, and he had an omurice.
“Do you want a bite, Levi?” you ask, holding out your fork.
He leans forward taking a bite of your food. “Mm, it tastes good, honey. Thank you.” You beam, doing a little shimmy. “You’re adorable,” he smiles.
“Oh hush,” you smile, your cheeks heating up.
After the two of you finish, he leads you to a rental car, gently tying a blindfold around your eyes after you buckle up.
“Where are we going?” you laugh nervously as you slowly get in the car.
“It’s a surprise, my love,” he says gently, but you notice how his voice sounds a little shaky.
“No hints?”
“No hints.”
As you feel the car drive forward, you hear a specific playlist: the one Levi made when the two of you first started dating, full of songs that he said ‘described how he felt for you’. As time went on, he added more and more songs.
You feel his hand rest on your thigh, and squeeze it gently. “Just relax, angel.”
It’s an hour later when you feel the car finally come to a stop.
“I’m gonna need you to keep the blindfold on while we walk, okay? But don’t worry, I’m going to be holding your hand the whole time.” he says softly, unbuckling your seatbelt and then his own.
Running around to the side of the car, he opens the door and takes your hand, carefully leading you out.
“Careful steps, pretty girl. Can’t have you getting hurt on my watch,” he says gently.
He walks backwards, leading you gently. “Levi! Where are we going?” you laugh nervously.
“Just trust me, Y/N. I promise it’ll be okay.”
You take small steps, following him, your heart beating rapidly. Is this happening?
You feel him let go of your hands after a minute, and you whine softly, not wanting to let go of him.
“You’re okay,” he reassures you gently. “...Okay. Honey, can you take your blindfold off for me?”
You take the blindfold off and immediately gasp, dropping it to the ground.
The sight in front of you immediately brings tears to your eyes. Levi is on one knee in front of a giant cherry blossom tree, holding out his hand for you to take.
“Hi, baby,” he says, giving you a watery laugh.
“Levi…” you whimper, taking his hand.
He squeezes your hand gently, using his other hand to take a small black velvet box out of his pocket.
“Y/N L/N. I know this might seem soon, less than a year in,” he starts, “but I’ve known for months that I’ve wanted to marry you.” he takes a breath, trying to hold back his tears. Opening the box, he shows a grey moissanite ring with a silver band, your dream ring. “I have never loved anything as much as I love you. I didn’t think I’d ever be able to love anyone, but you changed that. You changed all of it. You have changed my life for the better, and if there’s anything I know, it’s that I want to spend the rest of my life with you.”
You fall to your knees, tears streaming down your face. “Yes. Yes! I’ll marry you. Oh, Levi!”
Tears finally escape his eyes as he shakily puts the ring on your left hand. He stands up and hugs you, holding you like you’re the most precious thing in the entire world.
“I love you, I love you so much,” Levi sobs, resting his forehead against yours.
“I–I love you, too.” you laugh.
He presses his lips against yours, the saltiness of your combined tears mixing with the love he has for you.
He pulls away, looking at you and cupping your face. “You’re beautiful. And I’ll get to love you forever.”
You nod, smiling widely. “I can’t believe I get to love you forever. I feel so lucky.”
Wiping away the remnants of your tears, he asks the question that’s been on his mind since he started ring shopping. “Why the gray stone, though? I feel that it’s not a…normal choice.” he smiles.
“Because it reminds me of your eyes. So even if you’re away, no matter what, I can look down and remember you,” you whisper.
He feels his throat close as he chokes back another sob. “You’re gonna make me cry again, brat.”
