@hulkkink replied to your post: “when did joss whedon say he disliked tony? do you have a source?”
I am not someone’s personal google search, but a couple of easy finds are here:
where he says Tony Stark is insufferable and he likes writing about “the little guy versus the big faceless organization” lol wtf
where he not only says Ultron is only a creation of Tony’s (like. “with some help from Bruce Banner” oh and more help from the mind stone and wanda like. WHAT), he also proclaims Tony as “a hero gone wrong” and says Tony having an “unsolvable puzzle” has “made [him] crazy,” and that Tony’s “obsess[ed] with trying to create the perfect peace” like. It can’t get more obvious.
I can’t remember where I saw these, but they, too prove my point:
Not only does he say Steve and Tony are “definitely at odds” and that this controversy “existed before [Civil War],” he also calls Tony “a rockstar,” which sounds fine except he’s talking about the Tony who is part of the Avengers, at which point ppl should know him as more than that (yes, even Steve; if he’s “seen the news reports” then he should damn well have seen Tony’s acts of heroism as well as anything else).
Then there’s this winner right here:
Oh just Tony Stark “who definitely doesn’t get along with anybody.” Oh, okay.
tl;dr Joss Whedon clearly doesn’t like Tony Stark like. at all.
