“It’s gonna be great,” Wade says, skipping down the sidewalk. “Petey’s gonna love you. You’re gonna love him. It’ll be a big ole love fest. All the people I love will love each other, because if they do anything less than accept each other unconditionally from the moment they meet, I’ll literally hurl myself into the sun.”
Nate just grunts, because he’s the strong and silent type, which is one of the many, many things Wade loves about him.
“And he’s so cute. Look up ‘twink’ in the dictionary and you’ll find his picture. He’s got the face of an angel, adorable little button nose, bambi eyes. And a short king! Pocket sized, only 5’6”! Or 5’2”. Maybe 4’8”. Definitely a height, you know I’m measurement blind.”
“Are we getting catfished here?” Nate asks.
