You'd think given Isayama's answers regarding Armin and Jean/Reiner that people would get it, and learn to have fun and take his statements with a grain of salt, too. They're just after an argument. People are always going to project and lash out and it's super sad. Definitely don't take it personally. Anyone who follows you should know full stop you often play with gender roles all the time, anyway. The boys in lingerie? More than once? C'mon.
I don’t take it personally or at least I try not to since that seems self-involved lmao. it’s just more me wishing people could live and let live and not insist on needlessly stirring shit up; it’s exhausting like let’s all just have some fun with these fictional dorks and be creative and enjoy the differing interpretations and opinions.
and yeah Im not a huge fan of gender roles anyway but I also dont feel like wearing skirts or heels is inherently feminine and thus degrading or ruinous for a character, who has no confirmed gender, to wear. particularly when the author himself has depicted them wearing a skirt in the past.
i just want to chill over here.
