headcanons list.
½ - while tamaki is taller than most of his peers or around the same height as them, he probably would be a bit intimidated by anyone who towers over him, as it makes him feel small and uneasy. if anything, he’s more in tune to how they act and the air that they give off, which is often why he’s uneasy around most people regardless, so height isn’t always the most prominent factor in how he may feel about someone. everyone makes him nervous, someone help him
± - as an exemplary student, he’s likely good at math and definitely knows how to solve almost anything you give him, but he’s pretty neutral on math. in some cases, it's necessary and required, but he’s not a math nerd or fascinated by it, by any means.
“There’s a lot of people running around calling themselves hero, huh..” It’s AMUSING to him in some ways, that that title was so sought after in this world where in others it fought harshly for, not won by popular demand. “Does that always happen?” / @apathywound starter call .
(Д゚≡゚Д゚) & (〇o〇;)
(Д゚≡゚Д゚): When they are surprised by somebody do they physically jump? Scream?
she’ll jump onto her feet if she’s sitting.
if she’s already standing or otherwise it’s more of a reflexive flinch than anything but either way she’s usually quiet– until she figures out who did it anyway and then she’s liable to get angry / irate about it.
but surprising her isn’t the best idea, especially in an open area. (considering her occupation prior to being the chief of her village.) her instinctual response is fight or flight and GENERALLY in most (if not all) of her verses it’s gonna lean toward fight, naturally.
on the other hand if someone were to surprise her while they were, like, hanging out in her or their house on the other hand– it would more readily occur to her that the chances are it’s someone she knows rather than a stranger and potential threat. so it’s a safer bet unless you’re willing to risk gettin’ beat up.
(〇o〇;): What is their body language like when they are stressed? Do they try and hide the fact that they are stressed? How do they recover from said stress?
this is hard to answer because sheena is, like, at least moderately stressed most of the time– like i’ve mentioned on a few other occasions, she’s a chronic workaholic and she always has something to worry about whether it’s if she is getting enough done or if she is doing good enough.
however if a conversation or situation is stressing her out especially, it can be very easy to notice once you’ve been around her for a while. she gets more prone to fidgeting; running her fingers through her hair, rubbing at her scarred arm, fussing with her gloves or the hems of her clothing, linking her fingers together, etc.
all of those things can be nervous tics for her.
that said, if it’s brought up she might deny that she is stressed or that something is bothering her unless she feels comfortable enough with the individual because she doesn’t want to become a burden.
and lastly, honestly… she doesn’t really know how to destress on her own.
if she tries by herself, without anyone there to distract her from everything then she'll just end up thinking about work and the things that she has to do and fretting about it.
