Huh. So someone I have like a 95% match rating on OKcupid that I messaged (and got no response from) about a year ago is apparently a tumblr famous person.

Like damn I discovered Ruby Rose before all the OitNB stuff and Break Free elated me, discovering a person who shared my specific non-binary identity and would be on a TV show and hopefully inspire others like me who don’t have anyone in the popular media to look up to and relate to. Even when that person comes along people can’t help but open up their anuses and projectile their shit onto it.

Got to the episode where Ruby Rose shows up and hell yeah. I need more.

Apparently gender isn’t really brought up this season which sucks :/ I was really looking forward to seeing her because as far as I’m aware of there’s literally no other actor out there who identifies as gender fluid. I’m hoping that next season she gets an episode dedicated to herself and it gets addressed more. Or at least explicitly stated. Will probably ignore the Stella tag for awhile since there’s some pissy cis people complaining about there being another white girl on the show (Ruby ain’t a girl she just uses female pronouns).

At any rate it’s cool that OitNB has another transgender actor.

At any rate, I’ve never been much of one to complain about changes that movie and TV adaptions make from novels. I’m glad the first time it angers me is because of the butchering and removing of strong, well-written female characters, amongst some other bullshit misogynist things.
