I met @catebrigid this St. Patrick’s Day at the @silverlakefarmersmarket. Red hair, green shirt, Irish last name, “McKeating”, AND a happy go lucky disposition. I found a magical Silverlake leprechaun, rather she found us. Cate said hello to Pegasus by the succulent table and we struck up a conversation. Turns out Cate works for @beaglefreedom. Their mission is to end all animal exploitation through rescues, campaigns and legislations. Her and Pegasus, my rescue pup from @maedayrescue - instant friends. She also was well-equipped with Irish facts and knowledge. Her dad is from Belfast, Ireland. I was schooled on this St. Paddy’s day. One fact- don’t wear orange on St. Paddy’s. Day or if you do, you’re claiming the Protestant side. Just so you know. Cate was like finding a four leaf clover today. Rare and I feel so lucky that I met her. A good heart. A courageous spirit. Her last name, “McKready”, means “trained” and “expert”. That she is. An expert in Irish history and the advocacy of all animals. Thank you, Cate. 🍀 #apersonaday May the road rise to meet you, may the wind be ever at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and the rains fall soft upon your face. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand. 📸: #sony6000 #stpatricksday #cate #rescueandfreedomproject #rfp #rescuedog #maedayrescue #pegasusthemagicaldog #stpattysday #luckoftheirish #irish #photoproject #photography #losangeles #silverlake #irishprayer #maytheroadrisetomeetyou (at Silver Lake Farmers Market)
