Tell us about the first girl you loved and how you knew

It was all very innocent. And it helped me realized I was gay. It was my junior year of high school and she was a senior. We became friends through mutual friends and ate lunch together. Before I knew it we got really close. She would always recommend me shows to watch including pretty little liars and supernatural. Even though I thought they were cheesy I watched them anyway. I remember inviting her to sleepovers at my house and we would binge watch those cheesy shows. And sitting so close to her because I wanted to cuddle. I remember one night when we were in bed with my back facing her. Thinking I was already sleep, she traced her fingers on my back and then eventually she spooned me. I was so happy I couldn’t sleep that whole night lmao. I wanted to talk about it in the morning but I was too shy. I would always sleep on the side she slept on the next night because it smelled like her. I remember going to her soccer game to support her and riding home in her car. I rode the bus to school and I remember always looking for her car in the parking lot to see if she was at school that day. Before she left for college, she visited me and I don’t remember why, but we were looking at an I Spy book together. We we sitting so close to each together in my bed, and it was so quiet as we searched for things and I remember thinking how I wish she kissed me. Fast forward, she eventually admitted she had a crush on me and I admitted as well. She was my first kiss. But yeah my feelings were so innocent. I would describe it as puppy love; infatuation.
