Favorite mid-summer series?

Reverie on NBC.

After a shaky pilot, Reverie took a few episodes to find it's footing (in the first couple, the CGI was funky and the show was diverging in several directions at once without taking the beats to elaborate) but episode 4 and 5 start tethering it to some ongoing themes. It could benefit for a few multi episode arcs rather than having each episode be so capsulated, but strong performances by supporting guests make it intriguing.

If you can't watch live on Wednesday nights 9pm CT, it's also on Hulu.

Rating so far: B+.
