For some reason, only those of us who practice magic can still speak. That would be me and Victoria.

It's a tie between PEI and BC. At least for this blog. When writing it's Nunavut or Alberta.

- Saskatchewan, Alberta (approximately the same age, siblings)
- Yukon, Prince Edward Islands, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Nunavut (younger siblings)
- England/Nyo!England/2p!England/2p!Nyo!England (colonizer, older siblings)
Appearance:
Victoria is an average height (about 5/4" or 162cm), pretty, and well-built young woman with fairly light skin. She has long, light reddish-brown hair though she tends to dye it darker, and green eyes; she is constantly seen wearing an copper coloured wristwatch on her left wrist and it is rumored that she hasn’t taken it off since she got it as it was a gift from Queen Victoria herself. Under it, the skin has pale as it has not seen the sunlight for over a century.
British Columbia’s clothing tends to feature longer rain-proof jackets and loose pants as well as sneakers and t-shirts. This is in order to be able to do the outdoor activity she so cherishes. During the hockey season, she can often be found in her Vancouver Canucks jersey with a pair of rollerblades. She spends much of her time making sure she looks good- because the name Beautiful British Columbia is something she cherishes more than anything and is very proud to uphold that name.
//Aside from some Original Works, the main faceclaim for B-C will be Namie Yagiri from Durarara!!
Personality:
Despite displaying moods that range from mischievous, laid-back, friendly, cold and bitter, and even sly or naive, Victoria is typically a very reserved person. As the province the farthest away from the important lands such as Ontario or Quebec, she has always been very distant from her family and other nations, preferring to spend time overseas with nations such as the Philippines, Korea or China. Because of this, personal relationships with her fellow provinces and territories are a little awkward. The mountains that separate her from Alberta and the rest of Canada are a prime example.
Over time, though, Victoria has been finding it harder and harder to remain as a reserved and distant province. This has been especially true after joining the confederation, especially when the Pacific Railway had been built in order to strengthen her relationships with her peers. She has started having a bigger involvement when it comes to the country as a whole.
Because of the past, British Columbia had learned that working on her own often gives the best results and because of this, she is considered to be very stubborn. Victoria shares a love of sports that is unparalleled amongst her siblings. Hockey, Snowboarding, Skiing, Rollerblading, Biking and Skating are among her favorite all-time sports. On the week-ends, she protests against deforestation. As it was confirmed that Canada was a stoner in the manga, Victoria smokes weed on a weekly basis.
Relationships (briefly explained):
Provinces and Territories: She gets along well with all of the territories (Yukon, Nunavut and North West Territories) as well as Nova Scotia and New Brunswick (only bilingual province). She and Quebec (only francophone province) have an England versus France/West versus East rivalry. Manitoba is jealous of her since she is always considered as the West while his position is always debated. Her rather laid-back nature doesn’t suit so well with Ontario and Alberta’s arrogant streaks, as they are considered the more ‘important’ than the other provinces. She and Saskatchewan have the forever lingering debate of flatlands and fields versus forests and mountains and she has a big-sisterly relationship with Yukon, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador.
America: A very good relationship both now and back in the day. The Annexationist Party of British Columbia was a political group that strongly desired to merge B-C with the US. There were many arguments against it and eventually the idea was removed from the heads of many. But they maintain good trades and it isn’t uncommon to see an American go camping to BC for the week-end as it is a Canadian to go shop to Washington on their days off.
China and East Asia: As countries of the Pacific, the amount of trade that goes between the two is enormous. Everything from wood to tar sands, it’s traded back and forth for new product. The immigration rate is also extremely high. According to the 2011 census, about 24% of the population of BC are from Asia and Vancouver is home to the second largest China Town. The immigration has started since the Chinese were hired as workers for the railways though were terribly mistreated. The government has made official apologies to this in the year 2014.
England: Well, it’s in the name, isn’t it? BRITISH Columbia. Well, their relationship depends on which aspect you look at. Back in the colonial days, England rejoiced to have found a passage to the Pacific using the new world. British Columbia also had many resources and a mild climate that the rest of Canada lacked. Victoria, both her name and capital, were named after the Queen and the monarch is still on Canadian currency today. Victoria has mixed feelings as England eradicated the population of Natives in the area as well as caused her land to be industrialized, decimating several forests in the process. At the same time, if it weren’t for him, she’d have been part of America which would have led to an even worst industrialization.
Canada: Lucky for him, she is one of the countries who cause the least problems for him nowadays. However, prior to the Confederation, she was very close to becoming part of America. Even now, the question begs to be re-asked as several British Columbians are considering what could have happened if they were part of America. Canada dreads to think of that because B-C is the main source of forestry for the country as well as the only one with the good weather. It is also a province that brings quite a bit of income.

Victoria watched wide eyed at the Italian who was yelling at her unceasingly. Several times, she had tried to say something but every time, he just continued yelling. So, she waited. It was like talking with Ontario or Alberta, she mused, letting out a little chuckle. As soon as Lovino had taken a moment to breath, she took this as her chance.
“Hey, man… It’s not the end of the world,” she smiled lazily, “Here,” she dug her hand in her pocket and opened her wallet, handing him one of her several Starbucks gift cards, “Get yourself a frap or something and re-lax,” she took a pause to breath, “Oh, and I’ll pay for the dry cleaning of your suit too… but first you just got to breath.”
