As much as I adore the idea that Ludwig has a surprisingly good singing voice, deep and smooth and rich like butter ( maybe like Hozier??? i might workshop that idk ) -- I also very much love the idea that he is very good with instruments, namely the cello which has a similar tone to his voice, and one could be easily enamored by the fact that he can translate such feeling without his voice, and where his words cease to project his thoughts, he can always count on his cello. I really do think he has the drive and dedication to spend the proper time to the craft, and he would grow to flourish with any instrument he tries, but the cello oh babbey the cello is his true love. And whenever I think of Ludwig, classical music always come to mind in subtext, I think the instrumental aspect of it really fits him ??

Baby Lud’s favorite place to hang out was the kitchen. He wouldn’t be able to help with much because he was a little too young, but he watched and learned and helped when he could, enjoying the yummy smells of baking. Alternatively, he would be the kid that runs around with a knife he snuck from the kitchen while Gil chases after him to try to get it away from him.

lud’s the kid in the vine where it’s like “let me see what u have !” and the kid’s like “a knIFE” “NOOO” 

Gil would have a mental breakdown in that instant and run screaming after him. But at least now he has cute blade cases for all the knives and put them way up high so that could never happen again ( except Lud def figures out how to open the drawers and climbs up there ). 

But I totally agree!!! He likes to eat and he’s a very curious kid so it’s no wonder he’d be like “how do i make this so maybe when I want it I can make MORE”. Gilbert would be so happy to let Lud watch, answering his questions patiently and watching cooking shows with him on the tv.

I like to imagine Gilbert lifting up Toddler Lud and twirling him around like a little airplane and Ludwig screeching/laughing uncontrollably. Big boy Ludwig misses those days when he was a wee nugget that could be easily lifted off the ground.

I luv that tooooo !!! Ugh Lud and Gil have such a good brother bond, it’s so sweet. When Lud was younger, he really enjoyed Gil’s physical affection. He always asked for kisses and ran to hug his legs all the time and dragged his stuffed elephant into Gil’s room at night when it stormed to lay with him and of course requested airplane rides, and now that Lud’s older it’s obviously not as often, but when he really needs it, Gil is happy to pretend his almost 6 foot tall beef head brother is a baby and gives him plenty of heads kisses. 

Also also when Ludwig was young, he always tried to wrestle with Gilbert-- tried because Gilbert was still much taller than him and always ended up just picking up like a ragdoll. Once Lud got annoyed by Gil’s laughing and bit the shit out of his hand, and Gil screeched kejbfvsodyfvd he was more wounded emotionally than anything tbh
