After the requests for a follow-up event, the Hetalia rarepairs discord server will be hosting a Halloween-themed Hetalia rarepairs event! The event will last a week, from Thursday, October 25th, to Wednesday, October 31st, 2018.

No qualifications or sign-ups are needed. Just post your work following the prompt of the corresponding date and tag it with #aphhalloweenrarepairs2018. We will go through this tag reblog all your works! Make sure your pieces are not posted before the date (however, you can post it after the day has passed) and that they follow the prompts below!

•They’ll both smoke weed together but not TOO much cause...That costs money. They’ll curl up on the couch and share a joint, huffing and rolling their eyes as they grumble about meetings

•When they’re out of the public eye, they actually dress like they’re homeless. They just wear holy pants, stained shirts, mismatched socks but hey! The clothes still have some life left in them! They don’t need new ones!!...But they really do. Someone please buy them some nice fucking sweatpants

•Vash is like, five inches shorter than Abel is. This being said, Abel will use his little Swiss man as an arm rest sometimes, just to hear that little scoff “Idiot...”

•They both get way too invested into mystery movies. They’ll watch and have to pause it sometimes to talk about what they think will happen “No- I think the banker is the murder!-“ “Oh please! In movies like these, the first person you see is usually the murderer! It’s the girl!” “Abel, she’s like, thirteen!”

•They have issues voicing their emotions...It isn’t too easy for them...So sometimes they just take eachothers hands, set their foreheads together, sigh and just let out whatever they have to say. No judgment until they’ve gotten everything out

•Vash fuckin loves going out to see Abel’s tulip gardens...It’s super peaceful there and he just feels all of his little man stress melt away. He’s a sucker for flowers and pretty things

Basic Impressions of Aph Rare Pairs

GerSwe: A cute domestic couple, perfect and polite neighbors, will bake extra desserts and give it to you, own 500 dogs.

SeyMona: She treats Sey like a princess, will buy her whatever she wants, both enjoy sailing/being out on the sea, Sey always borrows her clothes/accessories but forgets to return them.

NedDen: Ultimate bro-to-lovers, Den can make Ned laugh with just one look, they draw each other crude pictures during boring meetings, they can be quite immature together but they still find it easy to confide in each other about more serious matters.

SpUk: Snarky comments 101, however no one believes England about Spain being snarky since he’s so nice to everyone else, competitive, both want a big family but can’t decide when to get started.

AmeViet: Both stubborn as hell, America always embarrasses Vietnam by telling everyone they meet she’s his girlfriend, she lowkey loves it, gym buddies, stay up all night watching horror movies on Netflix

OzBel: Late night snack dates in their kitchen, Oz is a cuddler and a little clingy, both have perfected the “puppy dog eyes” as a weapon, kiss goodbye each like they’ll never see each other again

TurFra: Extroverts who love throwing dinner parties, very competitive about a lot of things (esp cooking), they love singing around the house absentmindedly, Turkey gives the best bear hugs and butt slaps.

VietTai: Taiwan loves giving Vietnam makeovers, especially loves doing her hair, Taiwan usually loves spending money and Vietnam has to keep her in check.

BelSwiss: She basically has to beg him to leave his house, love watching action movies (Switzerland criticizes the physics in them), when he gets tense she loves giving him neck massages,

HunBela: Cover each other in hickies, stay up doing each other’s hair, rocker babes

TurkIce: Ice ironically calls Turkey “daddy” (he can’t tell if he likes it or not), Turkey likes to constantly show off how macho he is (like randomly throwing Ice over his shoulder), both fight over the thermostat.

Germano, PruIta, GerAme, CanAme, aaaaaand SpaPru? (any sort of nyo combinations there if you want, too)

Germano: B They have potential but they're not the top of my multishipping heart. 

PruIta D/E I still think Gil would see Feli as more of a mascot/pet than anything.

GerAme A Definitely explores less common sides of the characters: one of the best fics i've read of them was them being engineering nerds together. Also this one really good WWII bookmaker au. yes. bookmaker. It was great.

CanAme: A+

SpaPru B/C Rarepair that i think could be really really interesting and adorable, (and also potentially f*cked up but that's a contingent on any hetalia pairing once you start pulling historical inspiration) but I only ever see as part of the BTT.

(any sort of nyo combinations there if you want, too) A's all round because there is never enough femslash. also some go higher as fems because the nyo's canonly have different personalities and would probably clash/mesh in different ways. 

All of these can be upgraded to A/A+ given the right fic.
