OK SO LONG AGO, people decided to make a whole bunch of puns with character’s names (whether country or human), or something relating to them, and photoshop them with the item

Like, for example, pangary, they’d edit hungary’s head or something onto a pan. Or polish remover, they’d edit poland onto polish remover
