I have a teacher that doesn’t take late work (understandable) but if you bring in something then you can fix it up and get it regraded. I misunderstood, ‘cause apparently you can only fix it up one letter grade and long story short she told me at the end of class that my work-in-progress was an F (because it was barely, barely started) so re doing it would only raise the grade to a D. I just... misunderstood that you could only fix it up one letter grade. She wasn’t mean about it, but I cried anyways.

Now I have to finish an illustration and possibly write a paper I’m just not equipped to write?? It’s all my own fault tho so I really shouldn’t complain

We had a house burn down in the neighborhood on Christmas Eve a few years ago, and it was rly startling to just. Drive by it one day and notice its gone. So I feel you tbh, I still think about it sometimes
