X and Cleo not dating originally but all three become a polycule.

Anyways - at the end of his human life these two sit by his sides and comfort and hold each of his hands.

Because I hc X to be immortal/longer lifespan and well zombie/undead this hits them hard because he insisted on staying and living as human.

Eventually he tells them how happy he was to have both of them in his life before passing.

Cleo offered to bite him. Xisuma offered to extend his lifespan to an arbitrary length. He denied both requests, stating that his mind wasn’t built to take so many memories. Though they respect his decision, it still feels like a rejection of an eternal life with them.

Oo an interesting question! Admittedly though it has been a while since I've watched most of Lying's series' and my memories are hazy as a result. A lot of what I have is headcanon, but that's maybe not what you're looking for here haha

Fun trivia is that there are a lot of Lying's. The Witch probably shows up the most. But there's also the Priest, the Knight, the Maid, and of course the latest addition the Arch-Fae from ComeBlockHome. There's others too! Several haven't got their own series, but the ones that do are worth a watch if you haven't already! And I do need to rewatch them too really. Especially Witch in the Woods and Knight of Fangs, bit of nostalgia there I imagine.

Most of my focus over the years has been on witch!Lying, they're an interesting character and I do have fun drawing them and playing with headcanons. What fun canon lore do I remember though, hmm; they wish to be the true embodiment of fear, they've been known to use ravens as spies, and they literally tore through the multiverse to free themselves after they were trapped in their well. There is almost certainly more that I'm forgetting.

The main thing I remember of Knight!Lying is that he's a rather- broody, werewolf, with a strong dislike for vampires. But it's been so long since I watched Knight of Fangs my memory isn't giving me much else right now (it being 2am probably doesn't help either)

I'm sure if Lying himself happens across this post he'd be able to give you more interesting fun facts, lore and trivia than I can ~ But maybe this will be of help to you, I don't know! Feel free to ask more questions if you have them though, I love talking about characters haha!
