But that joy soon turns into pain, both emotional AND physical.

Written for APH Niche Pair Week Day 4, 'Conversation'!

This was something I started back in February and never got around to finishing, but the prompt really fit a date setting so I'm glad I was motivated to finish it! :)

LietBel is a pairing that has potential to be cute, but I think they misunderstand each other SO much. lol Lithuania tries, but tries a little too hard, which pisses Belarus off. And in turn, because Bela is very much like a stray cat that hisses and scratches until she warms up to someone, I think Lithuania accidentally scares her, too. (And in cases like this, some of his earnestness can come off as kind of asshole-ish, which... doesn't help... But it's not like he means to be that way... He's just thinking 'Let me love you!' while she's like 'No! Fuck off!')

To be honest, I still can't figure out why she agreed to the date. lol It's a mystery...

Summary: Liechtenstein is thrilled to have Monaco visit so the two girls can catch up, take a walk, and share some sweet moments amidst the beautiful scenery. But when Switzerland invites himself along, being the protective (and oblivious) brother that he is, what is Lili supposed to do about him?

I've always thought Monaco & Liechtenstein together would be sooo cute, given that they both seem to have old lady personalities and overbearing brothers. lol I just picture them having a lovely chat over tea and cakes and knitting or embroidering together, then having a session of playing cards, etc... It's a cozy relationship where they enjoy each other's company more than anything else. But they also have super sweet moments with little kisses and lots of cuddling. <3 And meanwhile France would be ecstatic for them to be dating, while Switzy wouldn't want anyone dating his sister. xD (He'd warm up to Monaco given time, I'm sure, but Switzerland is Switzerland after all!)

I might not have tomorrow's prompt written in time, but I will try my best to have it finished after work! If I don't post it tomorrow, I'll have it posted sometime later in the week. I'll try not to stress over it too much. lol I'm just happy to be participating in this writing event again! ^_^
