Aphobic tropes in media
You know an aphobic thing I really hate? When people use a headcanon of asexuality to say that character will NEVER date anyone. I see it everywhere and sadly I think a lot of the people who do it don’t realize it’s discriminatory. But it is and I wish it’d stop. It makes me cringe every time I see it. (And yes, I am an asexual and I’ve done enough research to know that asexuality is an experience that varies for everyone. I just feel like very little people outside the aspectrum want to accept that in ALL its forms.)
