Reddit is apparently about to ruin itself. They're going to charge significantly more for API access, effectively killing 3rd party apps, which then makes moderator tools disappear. The creator of the Apollo app claims they quoted an estimated $20 million PER YEAR for API access
There's also going to be a new NSFW policy, banning all such content from the API, and inviting Tumblr comparisons.
It's suspected this comes before Reddit IPO, trying to sanitize the site and make it appear more valuable to investors
