I'd like to ask you 19, 20 and 30 :)
[artist asks!]
19. What is the most difficult thing for you to draw?
Hmmmmm there’s lots of things lmao... I still struggle a lot with backgrounds unless I’ve got a lot of solid references, as well as like... selling that the characters actually exist IN that background rather than just on top of it? I also think I’m still pretty weak with like, dramatic angles and foreshortening, but again references are a godsend lmao
20. What is the easiest thing for you to draw?
Ahhhh, the quintessential neutral-expression-three-quarters-head-facing-left...
30. What inspires you to not just make art, but to be a better artist?
Honestly? My amazing audience. I freely admit I’m the kind of person who really thrives on feedback and interaction with my work, and to know that there are people not only following my content but like, invested! excited to see it! it’s an incredible motivation boost that makes me feel like it’s 200% worth the time and effort to tell all the stories bumping around in my head, in the best and most compelling and satisfying way I possibly can.
