Here is to the end of 2019: no more shame. No more self sabotaging apologies. No more needless pandering. Let's just be free. Let's love pumpkin spice. Let's squeeze every little special thing out of every season, every moon, every year, even every day.
Let's do the apple picking, the decorating, the cooking, the harvesting. Because harvesting is a deeply human tradition. We are hunters, gatherers, wanderers, and the beautiful world is our playground as long as we tread lightly, gratefully and with reverence.
