I'm new to the CP fandom (read it all in 2 days a week and a half ago, am now on second obsessive reread) and I'm fighting with myself over something. Do you think that Laurent knew Aimeric was one of his uncle's "boys," prior to the revelation that he was a traitor? Or do you think he only pieced it together after Aimeric stepped forward in favor of the Regent? (I have a lot of thoughts on this, but not enough room to put them all in an ask -- I can see arguments for both ways).
he realized it that day. at the end of the chapter, his emotions are fresh, and it seems some things are only now sinking in (particularly at the end of the chapter: ‘It would have been an amusing pleasure for him to send Aimeric to work against me, you’re right.’ ‘I remember that trip to Fortaine.’) which doesn’t fit with how laurent would be processing it if he’d known for a while. he pieced it together after the betrayal and put it aside, and then this interaction made him actually think through it.
and if we go back to how he talked about aimeric early on, he seemed as convinced as damen (and jord) that he was simply a fourth son trying to prove himself. the regent didn’t factor in until ravenel.

Being an 80s kid and a 90s teenager - I had to have the 70s, 80s, and 90s stuff pack. And I think dressing up Seth like that makes it all worth it. :)
