hey there; are you aplatonic and allofamilial? if so, what's that experience like? i'm demiplatonic and afamilial so it just sounds interesting. no worries if you don't want to share though lol
Hello! Ashton here, aplatonic member of this system!
Pretty much, instead of making friends, I just sort of. Subconsciously adopt the people I enjoy being around into a sort of found family? If that makes sense?
I also tend to enjoy socializing, but more out of an interest in how other beings act, and for entertainment ! :D
Do keep in mind that other's experiences with being aplat/allofamilial may be different! :D
Yes, love is love, but also love isn’t everything. Hope this helps.
Hi I’m queer but not aplatonic, and trying to better understand how to be a good ally to people who are. If you are yourself or know the answers to these questions, please reply!
-is it disrespectful to call aplatonic people friends?
-Would the majority of aplatonic people dislike befriending efforts, such as having many conversations bout things they are interested in, trying to get to know them better, and trying to make plans to hangout?
-do the repulsed, neutral and favorable labels apply as they do with aces and aros?
If any this is offensive please let me know.
