"Deliver us" - Chapter 1
Chapter 1 is out now! Mostly exposition and world building! But please read if you're interested!
Alfred and Matthew devise a road trip from Boston to Florida with their friends to celebrate completing their first semester of university. Matthew stays behind with Gilbert for the hockey team try-outs while Alfred goes ahead with friends to start the trip. This is the last time Alfred and Matthew will see each other before the Outbreak reaches them. Matthew and Gilbert are left stranded at the border of North Carolina as a state of emergency falls upon the country. They run into a pair of siblings also just trying to survive. Alfred is left scrambling with Ivan and 6 friends in Florida as the military and local police are quickly overwhelmed. These aren't the zombies from the movies- these are people- moaning, begging, crying, moving against their will and attacking. If there is a God, this would be the time to pray.
