It wasn't a problem until they moved in together. Prior to that, they were making do with twin- or full-size mattresses at their respective apartments (or, in Jason's case, safe houses). When they moved in together, they finally bought a bed big enough to accommodate them both. A queen, which wasn't exactly ideal but was what would fit the space and allow enough room for a dresser. Only then did they realize the issue.

"I sleep on the left," Tim stubbornly insisted.

"I sleep on the left," Jason countered.

Tim huffed. "Well, one of us is gonna have to change."

I don't know if it's an actual fact, but as far as I can see on my dashboard, TAZ-related works get accessible descriptions a lot more often on average than works do in other fandoms. Especially descriptions made by the original poster. I want to credit that to your activism on this here blue platform, and say "Thank you!". It's always a joy to find that things can evolve! Tim's barely clinging to the ladder, one toe looped around a rung as he hangs off the side, when Jason leans over the roof above him.

"Are you trying to break your neck? What the fuck, babe."

"I know this looks insane, but I can explain!"

Jason hops up on the ledge to watch. Only the way he anxiously fingers the grapnel gun in his lap belies his apparent nonchalance. "By all means. Elucidate to me why date night is about to be replaced with an ER visit."

"Right. So. You remember the prank war Damian started on Tuesday? Well…"
