Kitt thought that he’d hidden it well. But he didn’t realise that he was wearing his pain in his faint grimace and slouched walking gait. Instead, the first person he encountered that morning immediately clocked him.
‘Like what?’ He straightened up and tried to school his features. He only managed to make himself look frustrated with the girl, even though he just felt disappointed in his own failure to look normal.
He made a show of glancing down at himself and huffed a fake laugh, shaking his head. ‘I’m walking normally.’ He hoped she bought his bluff. He couldn’t be bothered to kick a fuss about a few scrapes.

Apollymi, Member of the Udbayi Forges Mate to Unistenje and Ora. Mother of far too many shadelings. Queen of the Santaluna Hives. Her past beyond the Order is a mystery. While many know that she was one of the Order’s earliest members very few have learned about much of her before that. She claims to be a pure shade primogenitor but based on the abilities that she has used while with the order she easily surpasses the abilities of most if not all other primogenitors the Order have come across. The heralds don’t hold an advantage against her and shade from outside the Order seem more subservient to her than they have any right to be. She is very very determined to stay out of the business of peaceful shade outside of the Order but she knows things that other shade outside her hive have never spoken out loud. When this is pointed out to her she is very insistent that it never happened and perhaps one is mis-remembering. The conspiracy theorist believe that she could be the very First Shade or even their deity. Some have referenced books that have referred to an Apocrypa, the Eater of Worlds and Gods as proof but few every remember making that comparison within moments of making it. Member of the Udbayi’s Elite Hunter Group. Holds a variety of shade abilities and magical absorption abilities as far as anyone knows. Smug and somewhat full of herself this dragon-like creature is always hungry and always searching for something to someone to interest her.
P: Si pudieras ir a la tierra durante todo un día sin el riesgo de destruir el mundo, ¿qué lugar visitarías y por qué?
A: Mi primera parada sería ver a mi hijo y mi nieto, luego a mi nieta y mi bisnieta. Entonces tengo viejos puntajes para resolver. Pero eso no tomaría mucho tiempo y luego nunca tendría que regresar a mi jaula nuevamente. Sin embargo, sería desagradable ser alguien diferente a los mencionados anteriormente y aquellos a quienes aman. Artemis excluida.
P: ¿Por qué elegiste a Savitar para entrenar a Acheron y no a otro Chthonian si no te gusta?
A: Es el único en el que casi confío, y el que sé cómo encontrar es el que más me duele. Sabe mejor que nadie que nunca me cruzarán, y que su vida y sus extremidades dependen del bienestar de mi hijo.
P: ¿Todavía necesita a Marissa Hunter para sus planes o ha renunciado a la idea de llevarla a Kalosis?
A: Mi plan era obligar a mi hijo a venir a mí. Eso no funcionó. Maldije el día en que nació con conciencia y su repugnante empatía hacia la humanidad.
P: ¿Tiene resentimiento con Styxx por la forma en que trató a Apostolos cuando era humano?
A: ¿Un oso defeca en el campo? Por supuesto que sí. Está en lo más alto de mi lista de personas para rendir de la manera más cruel que se pueda imaginar.
P: Si pudieras rebobinar el tiempo, ¿borrarías las palabras que dijiste a Apolo y Artemisa por la muerte de tu hijo?
A: Sí. Aprendí a matar primero y a hablar más tarde.
P: ¿Dónde o cómo conociste a Savitar, y cómo fue tu relación con él antes del evento que hizo que te odies el uno al otro?
A: Nadie dijo que Savitar me odia. Él no es tan estúpido o suicida. No recuerdo cómo nos conocimos. No era importante para mí, y siempre lo he encontrado molesto.
P: ¿Cómo te sentiste cuando escuchaste que Archon era el padre de las Parcas? ¿Lo amabas incluso después de descubrir eso?
A: ¿Cómo creo que me sentí? Rango de perro bastardo que debería haber sido castrado. Quería su corazón en mi puño y, por la estupidez de Savitar, lo hubiera tenido. Por supuesto que lo amaba. No podría odiarlo tanto como a menos que lo amara.
P: ¿Todavía tiene algún tipo de sentimiento, aparte del odio, por su esposo Archon?
A: Ninguno en absoluto. Solo desearía poder regresar a Katateros para poder astillar sus restos estatuidos.
P: ¿Cómo se siente acerca de tener un nuevo miembro en su familia? (y sí, estamos hablando de su nieto Sebastos).
A: Lo adoro. Por encima de todo, adoro el hecho de que Soteria me lo traiga para poder consentirlo implacablemente.
P: ¿Te gustaría, tal vez en el futuro, tener una mejor relación con Stryker?
A: Todos los días nos acercamos. Lo amo como a un hijo, pero nadie se acerca al amor que tengo por mis Apostolos.
