apologeticsnstuff replied to your post: What if that’s the final moral ‘test’ of life?...
Or maybe there is no such future reality as eternal conscious torment for nonbelievers 0.o
Yeah, I mean I don't believe there actually is a hell (I'm a universalist), I'm just saying what if that's a test as the start of the afterlife? Like you're told that all the nonbelievers are being tortured forever, and given the choice of heaven or hell. And you're expected to choose hell if you're a good person.

I didn’t make an argument, merely a suggestion for your line of reasoning that avoids admitting a counterfactual that is logically impossible.
Well, all I'm doing is basing the counterfacutal's impossibility in God's decree rather than in a logical necessity that is ad extra.

Also, my initial point was glossed over. Your initial post depended upon countenancing a counterfactual that is logically impossible, so if that constituted a conditional in an argument for your conclusion, then I’d deny that premise.
Either way, if were talking about logical possibility, there is no possible world in which God can create a stone that he cannot lift, because there is no possible world in which God is not A se/omnipotent and that is because those are essential attributes (which are identical to him) that constrain him. In any sense, he constrains himself, he is not constrained by any concept of necessary truth that is ad extra.
