His feathery hand held out in front of him. 'I spent all morning, making myself look this good, you will not muck this up for me.'

"Awww, you're the cutest little mercenary I've ever seen." The girl giggled softly and crouched down to his level, giving him a shy little wave.

Rocket gave the woman a look that could best be described as a sneer of derision. Her low crouch put her at a very convenient biting height if she decided to go in for a pet—as had happened on occasion. Certain humies seemed to think that anything with fur liked being touched. Rocket was not one of those kinds of creatures.

right now, all that was there for his father was anger. just like how it had always been, maybe he shouldn't have tried to extend an olive branch to the man at all. he certainly wouldn't again. gah, he couldn't be prouder to be cory ellison because the pederson name? what a JOKE. perhaps part of it came down to the fact that he felt totally blindsided by the finn secret that was now out there. well, out there for the most part. how did he not know? maybe, there would have been signs but maybe, just maybe he hadn't wanted to see them.
